I have a few questions:

What is your coaching model and philosophy?

Can you list your previous clubs and experience?

Are you interested in player development or winning the game at this age?

Big fan of Spanish La Liga and teach team play, passing and possession with an emphasis on player skills. When a player has skills they gain confidence when they have confidence they are successful.

My first team was an 83 girls’ team and I have almost continually coached since then either teams or private skills coach.

Playing experience was I grew up in S Texas and inner cities in the south so playing experience was from daylight to night fall kind of like the way basketball players develop.

Previous clubs Solar, Texans, Longhorns, and a number of smaller clubs.

Some coaches focus on player development, some on winning games. My philosophy is let's do both development players so they are skilled and win games.

My last team was tied for last place in SDL Div II in U8 when I started coaching the team. They ended up in Lake Highlands Div I.

Plano Premier League Coach of the Year in 97

Any of you would be well served bringing your DD's out to play with Robert. Not only is he an excellent coach, but he is a stand-up person, and a fantastic role model for young kids. My DD played for him for 2 1/2 years from U9-U11, and it was a thoroughly positive experience for her.

Best of luck with the new teams, Robert! cheers
