LH Roster?

I heard last week that at least one 02 team did not have enough girls on their roster. (min of 14)
I'm wondering if tomorrow we will find out that we are back down to 44 teams.

Would you like to share which team/teams don't have enough players so if there are any last minute players looking for a team, they know where to call...

02 Dad---- WOW, That's amazing how you knew that? Is there a leak, do you know someone on the LHGCL Committee or board etc??? Or do you know the team?? If so spill. People should not know private information.

The only team on here still looking for players is F/C Dallas West. That could be a clue!

They are printing up flyers and posting them around town advertising the fact that they only have 13. Saw one yesterday.

Has to deadline to turn in your roster passed? I thought is was due last week at the meeting.

Roster changes HAVE to be in by tomorrow afternoon. That is drop dead deadline.

The only requirement was to have 14 players on the roster. If you had 13 players and were nearing the deadline, would you submit a 13 player roster, or find a 14th non-rostered player, add them, and then keep looking?
I doubt there is any real mystery here.

You can put anyone on the roster, even if she does not show up at the games or practice. And wait and sign someone else later. But that girl you signed, will have to fill out all the paperwork and she will be on the roster for a year.

If you only have 13 players, are you really worried about that roster spot for the year? With only 13 players, they would be out. With 14 spots filled, they live to fight another day.
Simple trade off, which has been done many times. It may not be a great long term move; even if they were to make the league, if they're having that much difficulty attracting players, it would likely be a long season.

I agree. Lots of teams have 16 players. I was just saying that the 1 girl you get, so you would have 14, is locked in to your team for a year.
