You make it seem that Im hiding behind something. My comments are real. They are not sugar coated.
My daughter was fulltime goalie for RASE in Fall. We played for DT DeLeon formally known as the GREAT TBG. You must be new to the forum. Everyone knows that. She is tryingout got FC Dallas East.
Cant give you my social cause I owe some back child support...
Lot of team-hopping, hugh? By choice or not? If you spent more time and energy in staying with a particular team more than one season, and less time bashing Solar and others, then maybe you'd see the true value in girl's soccer.

Team hopping???? you call 2 teams "team hopping"? Deleon made the mistake of taking his TBG team to DT. I would consider that 1 team right???? Then we played for LP for summer tourneys and fall league. That makes it 2 teams.
I dont have an agenda against Solar. What else can I spell out for you.?

Of course, this is nothing new...if we weren't comparing teams here, we would be comparing rec teams...its just that rec coaches are generally nicer, the friendship bonds are based on friendship and not the new "friend's" playing ability (as long as she is not competing for playing time in the same position)...oh yeah..and the ice cream to game ratio is higher in rec.
Come to think of it, let's get rid of academy...it was a dumb idea. Go back to rec only until U-11.

Nocrying wrote: Will you go on here and answer me these 2 questions?- 1) do you think Solar is a match to RASE? My answer is no. 2) do you think that Solar will find better competition playing 03 Silver then playing the top teams in 04? my answer is no. A top 04 team will be more challenging because of their soccer knowledge and skill. I would say that a 04 top team is a better complete all-around team then what you might play in lower 03s.
1) Based on results from this fall, probably not. Right now, RASE is the cream of the crop in the '04's.
2) I don't know, and even if I did know or have a strong opinion one way or the other, unless my DD played for his team, or I was considering having my DD try out for his team, it doesn't matter what my opinion is. I'd choose to focus my energy on my DD and her current team. If Solar Kennington wants to play other '04 teams, he knows where to find them. If he doesn't, so be it. The other '04's will see his team in late July 2014, and then everyone will see how his strategy worked out.

We got to play them in 6v6, im sure they will be tough on the big field. And in 2014 all the teams will look different anyway.

Plus we would like to play them, im sure it would be fun. But its really no ones business what Kenny does w his teams (except his parents of course) If they are good with it then so be it.

And all the teams know what league Solar K plays in and if you do your research, you can find out what winter leagues and tournaments they are playing in for the Spring. Open invite. If he doesn't, so be it. The other '04's will see his team in late July 2014, and then everyone will see how his strategy worked out.

I find boys to be on average quicker and faster (two different things) and more reliant on their better than girls on average ball handling resulting in much one on one.
The top girls teams certainly move the ball better.
We played OC Venom 04 boys this fall and won 2-1. That's only team on schedule I recognize. RASE would be my fav to win that silver group.
Looks like RASE did in fact get to finals against this same team but lost 2-1. OF course who knows if it was EXACT same team or not as boys guest as often as girls.
In any event, I would be interested in hearing the take on playing boys from other RASE parents vs. playing up or other top 04 girls teams.

I am not with the RASE 04 team but did watch 1.5 of their games against the boys... I watched them crush, and I stress crush, one team and then I watched the first half of the finals where they were winning 1-0 at half and had totally dominated possession... so I was really surprised to hear they lost.

I am not at all surpised to hear they dominated in possession. If I had to guess, I bet they got beat a couple of times on "fast break" like scnerios... The boys are fast.
