Ref is the law

In the end no matter how much we all table talk the call (and it has been enjoyable to read) The Ref is the law of the game. bad calls, good calls, missed calls, she/he is the law of the game.

haha... I was shocked they let that goal stand. I don't think hands over your head can in any way be construed as a "natural position".

I agree and would have made a different call back when I watched it and again today. And definitely not a Barca fan

In the end the Ref decides. The problem is that lately we've been getting either these kids that have no clue about the rules or those 2 really really old refs that seem to be sleeping and don't even check with their flagmen. Depressing.

Flagmen? No, no, that is the construction out on the highway and the old guys sleeping are the foremen.

I totally agree. The Ref decides. I simply wanted to know if I understood this particular law correctly. Gumby There's another factor to consider here. The players we're talking about here are 11-12 year old girls. Most of the time there's no bad intent to use the hand. They are to young and they still wouldn't be doing that kind of thing, for the most part. I've seen some, but very rare at this age. As you know when they get older acting becomes a big problem. Diving, fake injuries and such. But Fut-bol has always been like that. Unlike any other sports
