For the '01's...
In terms of roster turnover, I don't have exact numbers, but based on situations I actually know about, plus many conversations I had, plus information posted in the forum, I feel pretty confident in saying that the average roster turnover for LH D1/D2 teams from U11 to U12 was ~25-30%. That's somewhere around 4-5 players turning over on an average roster size of 15. Some teams had less, some teams had more, but 4-5 seems to be about the average. I have less info on the LH D3/PPL teams, but my guess is that it isn't much different.
As far as teams folding, for the '01's, one team from the U11 D1 Supergroup folded (FC Dallas West - finished 16th). 3 out of 4 of the teams that finished at the bottom of D3 folded (Fusion Navy, Andromeda Blue, and LP Hunt), and the 4th (Kicks East) failed to re-qualify. As a matter of fact, for the '00's and '01's combined, none of the 8 teams that finished in the bottom four of D3 at U11 managed to re-qualify for D3 at U12.

Who knows what will happen after this year but expect a lot of movement starting after the 1st season. It will pick up each year as you get closer to ECNL. That is where the top players want to be.

ECNL, Elite Clubs National League. Many of the best players are on these teams. That means that the players on these teams are much more likely to be seen by college recruiters and they are competing against many of the best players from all around the country. Just google ECNLsideline fan wrote:a little ignorance here but what is ECNL and why is it important. thanks

U-13 first year of ECNL , teams are made up of players that have appropriate soccer year and yes some girls do play up!

Currently ECNL starts at U14. The year for ECNL is 8/1 to 7/31. Kids can and do play up.

I was thinking about the 2000's. they are already going through tryouts. Their official start would be U-14 thanks for the clarification Gunner!

I have heard rumors, but have heard their is not enough interest! I don't think it will happen next year for the U-13's but it will happen in the near future.
