7/28 07G Round-Robin

Thanks TRD and Liverpool for hosting Dallas Rush 07 Dynamo in the scrimmage today. I was not able to make it out, because of a sick dd, but the parents said it was well organized and a great environment to develop against talented teams. Thanks for having us out and we will look forward to reciprocating in the near future.

It was a good day. Nice teams, supportive parents, some good little players out there. I think they will all sleep well tonite. Hope your dd feels better!

The Sting Girls had lots of fun. Thanks for asking them to play.

Huge thanks to all the coaches, managers and assistants for coming. The parents were great and it was a big turnout.
It had to have been the most successful 7v7 '07 RR/tourny to date! Not to mention it was free. 5 teams, 40x60 fields, appropriately sized goals, plenty of practice and opportunities for "do-overs" to help players through mistakes. It's a no brainer for me that we'll be doing this again. I don't see the need to compete in tournaments on 50x80+ fields with full sized goals and boxes where teams are punished on a goal kick for not being able to kick it to anyone but the wall of opponents lined up on its edge  

The Sting girls enjoyed an atmosphere that allowed them to try something different.
