Well I'm calling it right now, Barnes unbeaten streak comes to an end, and Chacon goes down as well. (Unless of course SRSA loses and Armstrong is not up to the task)

I'm not touching the SRSA match, never seen Barnes so it could go either way.

I think Chacon takes care of business with Solar though.

Sure to be an interesting weekend for all the 06s. There are a ton of them now and most of them lacing them up for the first time as teams... sure to be lots of shiny new uniforms, cleats that still smell new, and some whacked out first time academy Moms/Dads... Maybe I should carry my camera at the ready for some Monday morning video clip madness.. hahaha

Wonder how many times we will hear someone yelling "KICK IT!!!"

I would put the line somewhere around 200 for the weekend. If you include "BOOT IT", "SEND IT", AND "BIG KICK", that number goes up x2.

Sorry, THAT wont happen...never been a Bayern fan and now we have an Au Pair living with us for the next year and she and her family are die hard Monchengladbach fans (lives in a village just outside the city). Dad is a season ticket holder... we took her to an FCD game and she just kind of chuckled.. haha

The number of top talent that they have produced (and now play for other clubs) is very good.

I stuck around to watch the first half of the Barnes/SRSA game. Seemed like a well played game with lots of talent on both teams. Foot skills were evenly matched while passing & depth leaned a little towards Barnes.
At halftime it was either 3-0 or 3-1 Barnes. I had to head out just after halftime but till then my guess would be a very hot goalie, defender's aggressive play & slick passing in the forwards made a lot of the difference to lead Barnes to a 5-2 win.

LP also took off the girl who scored 3 goals in 10 minutes plus their main scorer from last season for half the game  to allow 2 new girls some playing time. Their are always reasons both sides could have done better.
