Run away from this guy as fast as possible.  He has no business coaching academy age children.

Agreed. Just saying to avoid this coach without justification is not constructive.

My 99 Daughter played for Haylock, as well as my 04 over multiple seasons. I can tell you that he is the most fun coach my girls ever had. I also saw the largest improvement over the shortest period of time while on his team.

My $.02 on him.

It's not intended to be constructive. It's a warning. My DD hasn't played for him but I have seen two separate incidents from this coach that would shock just about any academy age parent. I'll leave it at that.

Posts like this drive me crazy! Your DD hasn't played for him, but you've seen 2 separate incidents that would shock anyone? This is a convincing argument to stay away.  I hope everyone reads this and considers reading Doverman's warnings as due diligence in determining which coach to have develop your DD.     Also, I haven't driven the new 2014 Chevy Camero, but I did read 2 reviews that weren't very complementary, so EVERYONE should STAY FAR, FAR AWAY from the Camero.

Look, it's pretty simple.  I don't care if he can develop players on the field or not.  I'm talking about his behavior around young kids.  If soccer development is your only concern then go for it.  I really don't care.  I am giving one person's opinion based on my own personal experience.   I have been around the guy twice and have been shocked both times.  Coincidence?  Maybe, but I doubt it.  
If you have had a different experience with the guy, then you are free to post that.
If you read the reviews on Camaro's, you will find good, bad, and indifferent.  Everyone has to do their due diligence and make their own decision.

So good to know that people like DOVERMAN can express their own opinions on a coach of which his DD hasn't even played for. Glad that you can tell others to turn their daughter away from a coach whom you know nothing of, playing wise. That's amazing. Here is from my experience, he is an amazing coach and does nothing but show that to all. He takes athletes and develops them into competitive soccer players. My DD plays for him and is apart of his and Grados 03G LAKE HIGHLANDS D1 team. He helped bring our team to the top. The girls absolutely love him. He demands the most out of every girls performance and pushes each girl to their limit but at the same time knows when to joke and have fun. Therefor, the girls as well as the parents of his teams highly respect him. DOVERMAN SAID..." I don't care if he can develop players on the field or not. Parents look for teams with the right coach who can take their DD and develop them into all they can be first. Hints comments like , "the coaching is amazing" ect. Haylocks behavior around the girls and young children, is nothing but respectful and appropriate in all ways. You would be lucky to have a coach like Haylock take on your DD. So, DOVERMAN until you have played or brought your DD to try out for his team and got to know him, keep comments to yourself.

By the way, you have said everything BUT say what he did that was so bad?!?!
