Then, if there's another team you want to roster her with for spring play, you will need to file a petition to NTX soccer for a competitive transfer. They will notify the coach you signed with last summer. If the coach does not respond within 10 business days, the transfer happens. If the coach contests the transfer, then a hearing will be scheduled before the NTX soccer board. I was told last year that the majority of petitions are approved. Those most likely to not be approved are transferring between a LH DI squad to another LH DI squad. You have until January 31st to petition.

If you choose not to roster with another squad for the spring league season, then you are allowed to practice and guest play with any competitive team you want. Take a copy of the NTX Soccer approved release to rec, laminate it and keep it in your DD's soccer bag in the event anyone questions her presence.

Unless you are 100% certain you want your DD to play for a particular squad and coach and that she'll be happy there, I would recommend not petitioning for a transfer. We decided against it for our DD last year and it worked out all for the better. She trained with and guest played with five different teams in six different tournaments between January and June. It gave her additional time to find the right coach, the right situation, the right team, instead of trying to do it all in the month of June. By the second week of June, she was comfortable committing to a coach she had played two tournaments with and had trained with for a couple of months.

Basically my kid plays for one of he big clubs.  (The blue one)  Rampant preffered treatment.  A few players are untouchable and can do no wrong.  Seems like sucking up to the coach is thetrying way to be in good graces.  Wanting to transfer to another team we've been talking to.  Nice down to earth coach.  How do you get out of this contract?   Pretty obvious my DD is no longer in good standing there and relegated to the bench.  Coach lied at the signing party and promised the moon.   As a parent, I have done everything possible to help, that includes volunteering, helping, always on time, all the dirty work,  marshalling in the heat, you name it.  Kid is a solid hard player who's never been late to practice and or games.    The suckers are always late and never benched.  Do I demand a release based on these facts?   Do I confront the almighty coach and ask him for it?   Do I go to the league and bring all this up?   Help!!!!!!!   Eager to move on and use her talents where they can be better appreciated.  Any new advice other than all the B S is very much appreciated.


El Macho have you found what your looking for in the new club or are you staying with the club your with? I hope the almighty coach that your with doesn't hurt your daughter because it sounds like you and the other parents are trying to do the best for your daughters. Good Luck!
