Congrats to LFS black in beating Tx Spirit in the final 2-1. I believe their white team also won the silver division too.

The Tournament website is incorrect.  The final score was LFS-2  TX Spirit 1.

That 05 Hypia Team scored in the first and held on to beat LFS White, it was a good championship match. Congrats LP.

I was told by someone actually at the game that the final score was 2-1. But who really knows? The myth continues....

Yup, this is a good team.  The fact that they took care of the other 05 team in their group was no surprise but to win the 04 silver championship was impressive.  Well done.

Hypia was very fast, took the LFS girls by surprise early on and scored. As the game progressed the weather and darkness seemed to take its toll on both sides. Half the field was dark, freezing rain and 20mph winds really bogged down the second half. Both teams are well coached and tried to play pretty soccer but it seemed like the girls were done.
