LH Division III--Week 2
LH Division III--Week 2
Andromeda V. Rush......The two best possession teams in the league face off. Good passing and attacks on both sides. No science behind this pick, but I think Rush slows down Andro's hot run. I'll go with Rush 2-1.
FCD East v. D'Feeters...FCD has really, really struggled to do anything at all. D'feeters has been pretty steady/solid. 2-0 Feet.
FC Premier v. Mustangs...Premier hasn't shown much at all either. This is the week Mustangs scores some goals and gets back on track. Mustangs 3-0.
LP Thompson v. LP Owen...Interesting Matchup. Thompson has yet to be beaten, Owen had a rough outing v. Andro last week. Have to think they will play better, but won't be enough. Thompson 1-0.
FWFC v. LP Dalglish...Another good matchup. Don't see many goals in this game. This is a very big game for both teams. I'll go with Liverpool 1-0.

FCD 0 vs D'Feet 3: New addition will be a difference maker.
FC Premier 0 vs Mustangs 1: Mustangs still struggling to score.
LP Thompson 1 vs LP Owen 1: Two evenly matched opponents with the same style of play.
FWFC 1 vs LP Dalglish 0: I'm still waiting for FWFC to turn it on but they should take this one.

Re: LH Division III--Week 2
FCD vs D'Feeters: DFeeters will win by at least 2 goals.
FC Premier vs Mustangs: Premier is better, and Mustangs are not a high scoring team. I could see this one ending in a tie.
LP Thompson vs LP Owen: I think Owen is a matchup problem for Thompson. I think Owen rebounds and wins this one.
FWFC vs LP Dalglish : I predict Dalglish wins this one. 2-1.

Re: LH Division III--Week 2
FCD 0 vs D'Feet 3: I would collapse in shock if FCD beat DFeet
FC Premier 0 vs Mustangs 2: Mustangs will be fine, last week was their first loss all season, I don't think their 2nd one will come this week.
LP Thompson 1 vs LP Owen 0: Thompson hasn't lost a game all year, and I doubt they will this week, although a tie would not surprise me.
FWFC 1 vs LP Dalglish 1: Daglish is pretty scrappy, neither team scores much, should be close.

Re: LH Division III--Week 2
FCD 0 vs D'Feet 2: Feet will need to win the expected ones to prepare for the difficult 2nd half of the season.
FC Premier 0 vs Mustangs 2: If the Mustangs do not start scoring NOW, expect to be in the bottom five at the end of this season.
LP Thompson 1 vs LP Owen 0: LP Owen has seemed to be struggling the last few months. LP Thompson will pull out the win to stay in 1st.
FWFC 0 vs LP Dalglish 1: FWFC had their number last time they met, but something is not the same with this team. I think LP Dalglish has a shot to pull this one out.

Re: LH Division III--Week 2
Please try not to hit your head if you fall. I completely understand all predictions for this team due to our record. We lost some key players at the end of last season and are only beginning to recoup. If one looks at the second half of last season we moved from last to 4th or 5th. Don't see a repeat this year but this team can compete, on occasion. We were able to beat a Sting D2 team in the Spring Round Up, and then follow up with the usual. Keep the predictions coming ! they are accurate and well thought. I have to admit though, it does feel good to be the weekly surprise.

Definitely a difference from last weeks result to this week.

Really? Fortunately all of the LP teams were playing next to each other so I got to see this one. So a crossing shot into the upper right corner from about the edge of the 18 is lucky? Luckier than the kick (not shot) from a few yards inside the mid-field line that the wind just happen to carry in over the outstretched arms of the of the keeper and just under the cross bar for FWFC? Minus the lucky shots, and this game ends in a win for the LP team. They dominated possession for most of the game and about scored the first goal 10 seconds into the game. This parent would have been best served at just saying it as a hard fought game, taken the point, and left it at that. I am sure the LP parents would be content with that. I am sure they are just happy to not fall victim to this team as the result of a lucky shot twice in one season.

Interesting the LFC goal was seen as 'lucky' in comparison to the one scored by FWFC!! And you're right it shouldn't have ended a tie...LFC should have won.
