But there is ALWAYS a reason. Why not, we played bad or we were out matched today or give credit to the other team? Its either, it's too hot, we played in a tourney or we were missing a few girls.. Not saying there is a sense of panic at DTS, but the ones doing all the scoring maybe looking average these days now that defenses are looking better. Your thoughts?

Really shouldn't be any panic....results not much different than Dalglish...maybe Odessey is just clicking defensively. Who knows? Thats why I know we are the media and this is ESPN... a team expected to start off dominant doesn't meet early expectations, its time to scrap the team, front office, and coach...mediocre team starts off 3-0 and they are considered Super Bowl contenders until...the tables turn and back to reality. Sometimes the heavy hitters remain contenders and sometimes the mediocre teams show promise but are always Detroit Lions-like... Time will tell...this is an ugly start to the final season and that's all I can come up with.

Well put kix! Very true, accurate, and funny. My prediction is a 1 to 1 tie between Dalglish and DTS. Texans have had LPs number In last 2 or 3 meeting. On a side note, I still miss angry irrational Kix.... Anti defacto Kix was a spark

Naw...that side will resurface, its just early...ill be uttering my Stephen A Smith commentary and debate as soon as the time is right and the scrutiny of an undeserving team happens. These LP parents have been quiet and Texans doubters been chilling...hmmm, they only surface when DT is winning....hmmmm

DTS 2 dalglish 1

Always a close game. Always good competition. No rivalry here, just close matched teams. Like kix said I don't think either team has started as strong as we would have liked. But that's 9-10 year old soccer.

Regardless of results with either of these teams over the season don't count either one of them out. In fact I wouldn't count any of the top 15 out.

I know for a fact that odyssey has added 2 studs at defense so no surprise they are playing well. I look for them to be moving up.

They have a losing record- perhaps that is why they shored up the D.

Take a look at wins as a % of games played- w/(w+l+t). Basically takes SOS (strength of schedule) out of play. Just look at who is winnig??

You could argue any team in the top 20 should have a winning record (>.500). Maybe some of these teams are getting bumps for SOS by playing in leagues where they are getting hammered. Plus, what is the fun factor when you aren't winning?

It is also interesting to note the difference in games played. The most active team in the top 20 is Owen at 30 games (big margin over second place) vs several teams at 11-13 games in the last 6 months.

Just some food for thought.

Top 10 vs. Top 10 may have a playoff atmosphere but in my new perspective...its all in entertainment until your teams defeats...not morally but definitely...the Top team and we all know who that is...everyone else is a warm up.

actually, avg'd 3 goals per game last season, avg 2.5 this year, unless you pull out a 7-0 blowout of a very low ranked team, then it's 2 goals on avg in 2014. Also, avg 1.5 goals per game against top-10 ranked teams in last several tournaments. scoring has gone down, LFS white is avg twice as many goals than last year, all with playing against higher ranked teams. buy the fact that scoring will decrease as age progresses, but LFS trend doesnt validate between both teams. just sayin. move top defenders from JK to MM team and there is the true top lfs team. They are on a roll elephant

We tried that. Unfortunately we had some duplicate jersey numbers on the field so we had to go move everyone back to their original teams. Oh well. Maybe next season.
