LP Dalglish v. Premier: Premier is done, don't know if there is any life left. Dalglish still has a lot to play for, so I see Dalglish winning this one, possibly in a romp.

Mustangs v. FC Dallas: Mustangs should win this one easily, just don't know how many they score. I say 3-0.

DFeeters v. Andro: I think Andro wins this one easily. I will say 3-0.

LP Owen v. FWFC: I don't know how to predict this one because FWFC will have some players missing for this game, due to red cards. If the red cards were handed out to some of their stars, then Owen should take advantage and win this one. I will go with Owen 3-1.

LP Thompson v. Dallas Rush: Best match-up of the weekend. I expect to see quite a battle, probably similar to the Andro-Rush game earlier this season. Thompson just came off two losses in a tournament, so I wonder if that has any effect on their performance. I think it may have been a wake-up call, so I will take Thompson 1-0.

Dalglish easy win, Mustangs struggle but win, DFeeters/Andro draw, Thompson/Rush Draw, owens wins easily

LP Dalglish 2-0 over FC Premier....FC Premier had been playing much better (when they had 11+ players . But LP is better now than in the fall and should win fairly comfortably.

Mustangs 1-0 over FCD East....Mustangs is going to need to prove they can score to have a shot at winning the league. FCD East (also) is better than they were a couple months ago. Should be a pretty competitive game.

Andro 2-0 over Feet....Tough to get a read on D'Feeters...lost to FCD 2 games ago then had a 'bye' when they got to play a 8-9 player Premier team last time out. Not as tough to get a read on Andro. They have been playing very well. I think Andro has more offense and just as good a defense as Feet.

LP Owen 2-0 over FWFC..This is the game I want to watch--only to see how many FWFC players are able to play! They will be in trouble due to the shenanigans of a couple weeks ago/red cards. I think this would be a different outcome if both teams were full strength.

Rush 2-1 over LP Thompson....LP still hasn't been beaten. I think this is the week that changes. Very even matchup and it should be quite a battle. I think Rush has a little more offense overall.

Any other scores from today?

Feel for D'feeters...they completely outplayed Andromeda today in every possible way but gave up a corner kick goal with 2 minutes left and then another goal right before final whistle to lose 2-1.

REALLY impressed with D'Feeters passing and play. Deserved a much different fate today.

Every possible way except the final score. That's why they play the game.

Anybody that watched this game should feel for the Feet, total domination on both ends of the field until the adventures in refereeing started the freefall in the final minutes. I really think they lost focus after two bad calls and the subsequent score off the corner. You have to learn to overcome that mentally so lesson learned for these girls but from what I saw today their style of play is pretty high level for d3. It was certainly a game of direct versus possession. Any scores on the late games yet?

Ok Feet parents. We feel sorry for your tough loss. Nobody else has ever had one. Suck it up and play the next game.

Tight at the top and also in the middle after yesterday.

4 teams within 2 points of 1st with chance to be promoted.
4 teams within 3 points for the last spot to avoid re-qualifying.

It's getting interesting that's for sure. Some interesting results...

*FC Premier bouncing back with their roster back to tie LP Dalglish
*FWFC beating LP Owen despite having multiple players not able to play
*Rush giving LP Thompson their first loss of the season
*Andromeda stealing a win in the last minute

Interesting! Just goes to show you that U12 soccer is still unpredictable and 1 goal is often the difference maker. Looks like the outcome of the Andromeda/Thompson game may decide the division.

Mustangs over Andromeda 1-0 last night

Can someone smarter than me give us the new mathematical analysis on how the Wed games impact the race to avoid requalification?

Premier and Barnes are in bottom 5 Mathematically. Four games left- Maximum of 12 points, pretty much seals that. The other ones (Owens, Daglish, Dfeeters,and FW) all are mathematically still in it, but barely as they play each other in the last four games so most have a maximum of 9. Dfeeters seem to be coming on the strongest of these four which put the other 3 as most at risk to have to requalify. These teams are all capable on any given Saturday, so exciting end of season race for sure.

What's also interesting is that even the mustangs are not completely in the clear.  Based on the standings as of today, they appear to have the toughest remaining schedule and if they just so happen to lose the next four they are most likely out. They face 3 of the 4 mentioned above who are scrapping for a spot plus Thompson.  Stark appears to have the weakest remaining schedule followed by Andromeda and Thompson which seems to indicate they are likely to stay. Should make for an interesting end of season where the last spot might be determined by something other than points.

last night was big for some teams...

*I think LP Thompson can now see the finish line...they play the 2 & 3 teams (Mustangs + Andro) but then the 2 bottom teams (Premier & Barnes). They really, really control their destiny...Probably just need to beat the bottom 2 teams and get 1 win (or 2 ties) out of the other 2 games and they will be home free.

*Andro & Rush/Texans were hurt most by last night. Probably eliminates them both from winning the league...Best Andro can do is 37 points and best Texans can do is 36. That likely won't be enough unless Thompson & Mustangs tie and then stumble somewhere else

*Agree that Mustangs have the toughest schedule. But they are so good in the back end that I can't see them stumbling that far down the standings. They were under assault last night by Andromeda and their defense & keeper were amazing.

*FWFC is in good shape for the last spot to not have to qualify...They have 3 tough games left but also a 3 point lead. And they too have a great defense. They can pretty much knock out D'Feeters if they beat them this weekend.

*D'Feeters will be the team that looks back on the last couple games in frustration...again last night it seemed that they dominated most of the game, but didn't close the door. Tough week for them.

*LP Owen has hit a rough patch this spring...they will need a big, big rally to get to 5th given their schedule.
