What's next - Feet ECNL ticket?

So, if current Feet team drop to D2 which looks 50/50 right now, what's next there? Seems like a situation that is ripe for a non ECNL club still in D1 team to zoom in and join Feet this summer to get the ECNL first slot ticket. What team is likely to do that?

I think this is a ripe opportunity for DT South or FCD Blue to make a jump over with these 2 teams most likely out for the ECNL team within their club this will allow the team to stay intact and get the bid.

Now that would be a Coup d'état if Adames moved to D'Feeters. It actually would make sense in that he could continue to build strong programs and move them into ECNL.

The tryouts are open. No team will be taken wholesale. They'll take the best of whoever shows up, regardless of current team affiliation. If they are smart, they will make no promises prior to the tryouts. If you're good enough, congratulations, if you're not good enough, sorry, that's competition.

I could be wrong but I do not see Adames moving from Texans..ever. He has been there and comfortable way too long..plus his brother runs the boys side for the South area as well. They develop teams mostly...have a lot of academy teams and they keep the best ones as they move into select. They leave them alone and let them do their thing which is not the normal MO.
Just my 2 cents.
