Whistler- I have to admit I agree with your Divison 2 predictions right down to the scores even.  (Except I abstain from any official position on LP Scott Smile )

Anchor Dad - I gave Celtic 1 because their striker came from Saints and is good friends with most of the girls. This will be an emotional game for her and I expect her to play well.

Insider info! In that case I would follow your lead. Makes a big difference. I hope she does well. Saints are a nice team but a little extra incentative makes it more fun. I also heard that Cinza is getting its injured players (multiple) back in about a week. Should make a difference for them their final games-- just not this week. I have felt bad for them with the big losses piled on.

Speaking of the unfortunate Cinza (due to injuries), did they indeed have to forfeit THU's game? I show there is no score update.

As for Celtic, it seems Coach McCallum is getting the Celtic girls in the right direction after a couple tougher games.

The girls are only about half way through the season, so anything can happen.

Not sure if the Cinza game will be forfeited or rescheduled. Obviously, nothing has happened yet.

Regarding Celtic, the replaced a lot of girls in the offseason. It takes time to rebuild the chemistry, and they opened up with a tough schedule already playing Dalglish, Owen, and WF Express.

In PPL 1 Dallas Rush Azul is missing 2 captains and 2 other starters for Tuesday nights game vs Solar. Just wanted to give everyone the heads up when making your predictions.

You know, re teams missing players, I don't know that we should really discuss that ahead of time. Maybe post-game "heads up" just to give insight into the outcome so we kind of know what might have gone into a score.

Not sure our coaches want opponents to know if you have a bunch out injured or otherwise unavailable.

@SantaFe,
Not sure it really matters to the coaches either way, they still have to play the game. Most coaches already know since teams have contacted them to try to reschedule or swap games. Plus not sure how many coaches are wasting their time reading these posts or game planning on what is said on here. If your coach is I would question him or her lol. I think if that is said after the game it seems like an excuse if they lose and bragging if they win and were missing players. Just my thoughts.

SAINTS 02G/Law certainly found the net last weekend - unfortunate for Rush to meet them on the Rise.  (Up 42 in gotsoccer)
Vs Celtic it will be an interesting game (game to watch).  Likely the SAINTS could run away with it.... (3+goals)?

Best to Both Teams !

Well dalglish and owen certainly seem to be the teams to beat in div 2, with saints still to play owen and express. One of those last three should join dalglish.

I agree with SantaFe. Dalglish seems most likely to advance from D2. Owen, until proven otherwise is the favorite for the 2nd spot, but there are some tough games to be played. Saints and Express very much in the running. LP Scott has an outside chance as their only 2 losses have been against the top 2 teams in the first 2 games of the season. They should start working their way up in the standings.

In D3, I don't see anybody getting in the way of Sting Central & High Plains Drifters. We played Sting Central in the LH QT. They are a much improved team from last year and will compete well in D2.

Is Plano including D4 in promotion/relegation? I know they added D3 this year, but last year the bottom division wasn't included. I hope they do include D4. If so, same goes for D4 with Celtic United and Cowgirls most likely to promote.

I will leave the relegation predictions up to those looking at the standings and keep my comments positive.

Good luck to all!

Still somewhat early in my opinion for the relegation for D1, but currently TX Thunder & FC Divas are 9th & 10th.

As for promotion for D2. I would agree that LP Dalglish should be promoted, which I'm sure the team is glad. They still have to play WF Xpress, but have beat both LP Owen and Saints, so they have the tie breaker there. I haven't seen Xpress play, but know they play Owen this weekend. Saints could sneak in #2 but would need to defeat Owen to do so and win all others. Relegation way too early but Celtic, Rush & Eclipse are at the bottom currently. I think Celtic is playing better and appears Rush is one more week a way from having a healthy roster.

D3 promotion could be Sting Central, HP Drifters or NTX Reign. I know Reign lost 1 game vs. the first two staying undefeated, but Central have to play Drifters and Reign and Drifters also have to play Reign. If they relegate, it appears as it stands now that Odyssey, Coppell and Gremio would be the bottom two.

If D4 does a promotion it appears Celtic United and Cowgirls are kicking D4 grass.

I think it's way early for me to make a call. There are too many teams close at the top and close at the bottom where one game changes everything. I would like to see the next couple of weeks and then "guess". 4 or 5 games to go depending on team. Fun to guess though

Not all surprised by WF's win, but surprised Celtic defeating the Saints. I knew Celtic was getting better under Coach McCallum but to beat a pretty unstoppable Saints is impressive.

Celtics deserved the win. They brought more energy to the game. Saints made a stong push in the last 6-7 minutes but couldn't find the net.

I don't want to discount the Celtics win, but to call the Saints pretty unstoppable I'd say is a bit of an overstatement. They are a good team but have lost 40% of their games this young season and still have two games out of their next four against opponents ahead of them right now. The Celtics, to their credit, are the only team to put more than one in on LP Dalglish since the disastrous tournament they had back in May.
