Texans Fall Festival

This is looking to be the toughest tournament since PLD, even with the absence of Premier and Spirit. No easy brackets in Red division. Kind of curious though, why is Chacon in White division? Seems like an easy win for them. Anyone care to make their predictions.

I'm sure they wanted to be in Red. Which team should've taken their place? I'm guessing tournament directors wanted at least one out of area team in the top division, so that leaves Owen, Odyssey, Texans Red and Chacon as the teams most likely to be placed in White. Texans Red probably has lowest gotsoccer ranking but doubt TD wanted to put them in white since its a Texans tourney.

It's a head scratcher, that's for sure. Who knows why they are in the wrong division, they will easily win their division.

I noticed they switched Owen and Odyssey brackets. Maybe they're working on it. I'm curious how this guy gets his seeding. No wild cards this time tho so somebody in Bracket B is going home early Sunday.

A and B are not equal. Cant believe TD put DTS and DT Scott in the same bracket.

Brackets are gonna be tough no matter how they do it. Maybe if chacon would've played up and they out a lower team down. Someone would have a complaint either way.

My scatterbrained theory, they wanted all three Texan teams to advance to the knockout round. Not knowing how good classics elite is, Texans Red had a better chance beating Odyssey (or Owen) than they did D'feeters. TD thinks that DTS and DT Scott have a better chance at beating 'Feet. Only conclusion I had why two brackets are unequal. Little upset that my team (Owen) was switched with Odyssey. We're basically playing the same teams we played in that incredibly difficult PLD bracket and we had a decent chance getting out of bracket play in group A. Now we have to beat two of the three top teams to do it  

Probably doesn't matter anyway. Weather channel has chance of thunderstorms at 90% on Saturday.

Tournament will probably get canceled like last year Fall Festival. What do they do with all the funds collected? Does it go to Texans Club? TD? Someone's personal account?

Same TD as PLD. Go figure. No big deal. Gotta beat everybody to win the thing anyway.

Usually 50% gets refunded.

Well the weather channel hasn't won just yet, but there is a possibility it can win. Games seemed to be pretty close with the exception of a few. a few interesting games left to be played.

Haven't seen LP Elite play in a while, but they seem to be playing like their old self. Plenty of weapons.

I'm gonna agree and disagree. Yes winning and scoring, but not like they used to. Don't think they could be as dominant as they once were. They are still the team to beat in the 04's, but not unbeatable.

Clearly not unbeatable, defeeters proved that.  Looking at the 03's SRSA this weekend shows nobody is above reproach.  Nice win for the stingies (er um tie)

I'm sure they see it as a win as well. Let's be honest, how entertaining would the 04's be if that loss doesn't happen. Maybe we will get to see a rematch eith either DTS or Feet.

last year it was rescheduled three times. teams only paid once. doubt there was any profit last year. profit, if any, should go to club.

Please refresh my memory, what was rescheduled three times? All I remember was it was on then late that Friday night it was cancelled.

It's official, this year is cancelled as well.

the third and final attempt to complete last years fall festival was in february. 2 inches of ice sunday morning caused a third cancellation. no conspiracy
