Has anyone heard if any UAL makeup games will be scheduled for 3-14?

THEY BETTER BE, these leagues are making a fortune off of us!

Yes they are scheduling games for 3-14.  I got an email from league to expect to see emails over next couple of days regarding the new dates.  


Also define fortune, if I sat down and really crunched the numbers my guess is those involved are not making anywhere close to a fortune and would be better off walking away from it as the rate per hour of work I suspect they are getting isn't anywhere close to the fortune you're proclaiming.

All I know is she's doing a FANTASTIC JOB.. The challenges she must be going through with the cities, parks, and other associations closing the fields are daunting for sure. I can't imagine what she's going through with scheduling and or anything else that it takes to run a very successful Academy league. She can run my company anytime !! Keep up the good work Nicole.. You ROCK !!!

Let's just say if it hair lips the Pope - EVERYONE will get their 8 games scheduled by me! Thank you for the kind words - remember is not a J-O-B to me, it's about making it all happen for everyone.

Agree 100% for the job you are doing Nicole given all the teams and field limitations BEFORE mother nature got involved. Your work and diligence is greatly appreciated in getting this done.

It was great to see that Gold and Platinum each got a game in this weekend.  I would have preferred to see more than that but I guess we have to take them as they come.

Sting Diaz appeared to take out the frustration we are all feeling with the weather on poor Fever United.  Ouch.  Touchdown!

NOBODY is more frustrated than me! Now I have 143 games to reschedule

Hopefully the teams who have not had a single game get priority when scheduling makeups.

Very good point. There are squads that have not seen a single game yet.

What are the chances for this weekend? 90% chance of thunderstorms, cloudy and more rain the rest of the week....

I know some teams were waiting to play their first games this past weekend..................we all know what happened there right? I will again, look to see who hasn't played and HOPEFULLY they're scheduled at Cox as that seems to be the only complex playing or TSC since it's turf!

What's the problem?  

There are 75 days between March 18 and May 31.  That's plenty of time to get all teams 8 games.  You can schedule games whenever and wherever you please, 7 days a week.  There is no NTX rule saying teams can't play more than one game per week, so give them 2 or 3.  Play more on Saturdays, because academy league games take priority over rec league games, even though NTX rules disagree.  (NTX rules also don't want scores posted in academy leagues, but no one cares about that).  Home field requests and playing day requests don't matter.  And, other leagues (Boys Classic, Girls Classic, Plano Premier, Arlington Premier, SDL, PrimeTime, PAL, indoor, futsal, and Rec) would be happy to move their games around to accommodate UAL makeup games).  I am sure none of the UAL teams want to play in any tournaments until June.

Thank you Nicole for all you do! Not sure if people realize the hard work that goes into fighting rain, field closures, etc... Not your fault when that happens but I have been impressed how you work as hard as you do to get our kids out there! Some obviously don't realize that! Thank you for your diligence, quick resolutions to cancelled games and the time and effort you put into this:)

The teams who have not played yet are not given any priority over any other team, that's why they say only 6 games are guaranteed.  There has been no change in our son's  schedule since the first weekend it iced over. But yet it seems like some divisions are scheduled right after their games are canceled and still have a full schedule. We have three girls and one boys on three different teams. The only one that has seen their games rescheduled are the 05 girls. The boys have had no changes at all. And we have only played one game out of all three teams.
