Maybe no longer. According to the bracket an Arlington team beat an ECNL team last night.

In the '01G bracket
Friday, July 17, 2015
8:30 PM
FORT WORTH FC 01G RED (TXN) 1 D'FEETERS02G ECNL (TXN) 0
But then today, Feet put it on a LHGCL team from last season
Saturday, July 18, 2015
2:00 PM
ANDROMEDA FC 01G RED (TXN) 0 D'FEETERS02G ECNL (TXN) 9
It's all about who is rising at year-end (better players come to tryouts) and who is falling at year-end (your better players leave).
I do believe there is a basic order to the leagues (LHGCL, PPL then APL) but to say anyone is a guarantee or a "cupcake" is just dumb.
Oh by the way, aren't these "Friendly Games"?

I can't get the scores to pull up..who won? Feet black or sting Hilton?

The team in this tournament was a few shades of gray darker than the D'Feeters White team that plays in D3.

Lol. Gray is gray.....I personally could care less, but at this age a couple of kids can change the outcome of a game. No different from cpp. Other side is this is a friendly....so who cares. Really shouldn't matter for a "d-1" team.

13 players for 4 games in 36 hours in 100 degree heat is probably not a good idea. It is July and people are on vacation, camps, etc. besides, that's how the Feet roll. Win at all cost and kick the ball as far as you can. All day, every day.

I think you pretty much described every team in NTX.

12 players. vacation, camps, and injuries.
All goals except 1 scored by white team players, and all were assisted by white team players.
2 goals against the white team goalie, and 1 was a pk.
Maybe some teams had an off weekend. Some teams may still be working on chemistry. All had player changes - maybe for the better, maybe for the worse.

Based on all of the success from the White players during the tournament, I am assuming all of the Feeter Black players who 'guest' played came of the bench and only played when a White player needed a water break. Otherwise, some White players got the shaft as they sat on the bench and watched other players play in their place who are not officially members of their team. I realize a lot of teams do this, but it sure does leave a sour taste in my mouth. Call me a 'development purest' who thinks teams should play as rostered (and not borrow hired guns from the better team in the Club system). Again, some girls get the shaft when this happens - usually those who need the most help in development get to sit the bench watching players who aren't on their team play in their place.

No doubt the other 13 are pretty good themselves, that being said then why any from black at all? Oh yeah, the heat.

Everyone played their normal allotted minutes. The girls from the Black team filled the spot of the missing White players.
Seriously....why are we really talking about this?
