So I am a first timer when it comes to the u14 Girls LH season. I hear some parents say that it will be watered down compared to last season due to teams leaving to play ECNL. Then I hear others say that it will be just as stout when it comes to competition. Which is true?
Many of the top players will be playing ECNL, I understand. What % on average dual roster from years past? And when parents say the competition will be just as stout, if that because of "more pairity" due to those top players being gone.
If this has already been explained on here somewhere I apologize for the redundancy?

It will be interesting for sure. You have D1 teams that didn't earn their spots; you have the ECNL clubs with dual rostered ECNL girls.

There will be some very good teams and on opposite some who have no business being in D1, a lot to do with LH two division system. Don't be fooled by whole ECNL dual roster, there aren't a lot of huge difference makers that dual roster, mainly ECNL bench which are really just D1 players anyway. The top 5-7 teams will dominate, the bottom half will struggle.

Not true on the ECNL players. You WILL see the top players on D1 teams.. I know 4 of the 5 clubs that will have their starters DR'd.

Well that is unfortunate but should make the games amongst the top 5 in LH more entertaining.
