Based on last years format and using the current FBR, brackets could possibly look like this... (Kicks 06 JM was removed as that team does not exist, so all teams were moved up 1 spot.)

Just based on a few texts I recieved last night after this.... lots of teams will not be making and/or changing.

Considering the changes taking place, new leagues being put into place.... this next year of LH could really look like no other year prior in NTX for the U11s... and I do not say that in a good way.

Word around the campfire is that about half are and half are not. How that will work with CPP rules etc I don't know, but it will be interesting to see how the landscape changes if half the JDL teams choose not to qualify.

I do not mean this in an offensive way... but what you will see is a lot of very young teams, mostly filled with former 07s. Kids that would normally be polishing up on things and getting another year of growth in before going select.

So it might resemble what U10 normally looks like.

So if your team is JDL and not doing LH and your club uses JDL as a pool of players wouldn't it be important to find out where your daughter stands and will she be allowed to play in EVERY JDL game if that is the only league your team is in? Trying to wrap my mind around the pool aspect I keep hearing.

That is a great question. I know some clubs sprinkle in JDLs on LH squads but like you said, where does the player permanently stand and how do you form team chemistry and consistency when there's a pool of players rotating any given game or tourney?

[But I should've elaborated. I meant kids being used to kids on and off the field. Kids getting used to a coach and their development styles etc. They learn and build confidence only to be bumped for a game so JDL (players and coaches) or anyone else can rotate in. Development is no where to be found when teams bring in top "rostered" guests to win tourneys or to qualify either.]

Bringing players down as well as up are both valid strategies for development and both should be utilized if possible.
