Where is the Champions League Schedule? I see LHGCL has posted the first 3 weeks.

Ark-Tex, there is a whole thread that talks about the Composite / Champions league under the Select / ECNL Discussion forum. The thread goes in different direction and touches other topics, but at the end the result is the same....zero information on the status of the Champion's league. You raising the question indicates that there hasn't been any movement yet....

Our managers have schedules

Have they let you know what the schedules are? How about some info.

Just first game September 3, i think the publishing of LH schedule will expedite release of champions schedule. I know all my daughter's LH games are opposite ecnl schedule so assumption is the champions games will follow suit. First champions game is all alongside ecnl game for club.

Where is your first game? Curious to see where all these new leagues play as I would assume there is not enough room at UTD for everything.

DD's '01 team is playing at Ross Stewart this weekend, alongside the ECNL matches. Been told it's not an "official" Champions League match, but have a feeling that may change before Saturday.

Does anyone even know how many Champions League Teams there are and who they are in the 02 division?

It's absolutely amazing that NO information is published yet.

Why is it so amazing. How many of us parents in NTX blindly write checks for the guys pulling the strings behind the scenes...

From what we were told from our coach for the 00 group. Which I would assume (maybe not) is the same for all groups, is that the league will comprise of the 5 ECNL clubs in NTX plus three other teams based on LHGC rankings. Also there will be the 4 ECNL clubs in STX plus the next two based on their league rankings and then the final two would be OFC and ECNL Tulsa club. So, 16 teams total. Now may not be the same for each age group.

Does anyone know when schedules will be made available to gen-pop?

Only going to be 12 teams, so an 11 game schedule(at least this is the rumor going around now) still no schedule set in stone, but they are going to still ask for your next check in 6 days

So which teams from the D/FW ECNL clubs will be playing in CL? Will it be the ECNL squad, the Composite squad or does the Club have the ability to flex its roster from week to week?

At DD's club, it's the Composite teams.  Can't speak to any other club.

DD's club has dedicated Composite rosters, and those teams are not playing in LHGCL. I don't know about every age group, but for at least 2 of the age groups, the Composite rosters are on the small side (12-14 field players), and we have been told to expect 2-4 additional players to be brought in for each game. Those players could be ECNL players, or they could be from LH teams.

We will be playing Champions League, 2 ECNL Composite events (North Carolina in Dec., Mass. at the end of April), and ~4-5 other regional showcase level tournaments (Texas Cup, Lonestar Showcase, FC Dallas Showcase, DIGC, etc.).

Also, for my DD's team, there is a pre-set schedule where each week, 2 of the composite players will be cycled to train with the ECNL team for that week (different players each week to cycle through the entire composite roster).

I can only speak for myself, but overall, have been very pleased with everything.

No ecnl at DD club, companies a mixture of girls from the top LH team and other teams from within club and external. It's US Club so there could be potential crossover with ecnl I suppose

As I understand it, each of the ECNL teams will field a Champions League team. ECNL players can play on this team. With our club the idea is that some ECNL players who may not get as much playing time in the ECNL game will play with the CL team that week. I suppose potentially the club could have their ECNL team play some or all the CL games, but why would they?
Additionally, teams that won LH D1 last year qualified to play in CL and so will also field teams.
As I understand it, teams will have the ability to flex their rosters each week.
