Lol. Who are you asking?
All these silly 06 parents. You will learn.
LHGCL doesn't communicate much of anything. And take it all with a grain of salt - because its likely to change.
Anyone else find it odd when the question was asked about JLD at the LH meeting, and they said "this is a LH meeting." Does that lead anyone to believe that maybe LHGCL isn't having anything to do with JDL?

The more transparency they have, the more screaming they will hear from surrounding masses. They're just going to avoid all that by not allowing any outsiders from interfering or commenting. I'm sure strict instructions were given before that meeting regarding JDL talk.

Well.... a DTS 05 parent came on here and unequivocably said that their team is playing both with the same roster. Speaking to a Solar parent, they are splitting squad but half of the JDL players will also be rostered to LHGCL. Not sure what the Feet will do now that they have the Kicks association, but I'm sure some player sharing there will probably occur. Neither club has enough to do both alone in all age groups. FCD is the only one I personally know is not rostering to both LHGCL and JDL, at least in certain age groups, if not all.
So the Big 5 are definitely playing both - at least some subset of them

Simply not true.
Plenty of clubs across age groups with girls and even entire teams playing both LHGCL and JDL.

Re: LHGCL 06G Partial Schedule Release
Lake Highlands is the administrator. They are the ones bent over taking it to allow the five clubs to do what they wish with us all.
There is no player sharing between Kicks and Dfeeters for JDL.
4 of the 5 clubs voted to not allow ANY player or team to participate in JDL unless that player or Team is also registered via USYSA (NTX) with the parent JDL club. That applies to all players or teams in NTX.
Kicks are registered as Kicks via NTX, hence no Kicks players in JDL.
How a US Club sanctioned league can mandate something pertaining to USYSA a completely separate entity makes no sense.
Not even ECNL has a rule like that. JDL and Champions League have no stated bylaws, no rules, no regulations... simply 5 guys sitting in a room dictating to us what they want and how much they want for it.
The 5 DOCs have all control over anything JDL or Champions League. Its a 5 person voting panel. Majority rules.

Re: LHGCL 06G Partial Schedule Release
Ask yourself how many times your child ever played a league game before noon on a Sunday?
Look at the LH historical schedules listed right there on their website and look to see how many times over the last 10 years there were Sunday AM games scheduled in ANY age division.
Guess what starts the same weekend as LH Game Day 2... JDL, there will be ECNL and Champions League Games....
Looks to me like somebody made room for those games to the detriment of every team in LH.
LH games on now on Sundays in direct conflict with Sunday AM church and ODP that is administered by NTX and held on Sundays.

Re: LHGCL 06G Partial Schedule Release
Looks to me like LH gave the middle finger to the 5 clubs and scheduled a bunch of Sunday games to conflict with JDL. Makes it more difficult for player sharing / team crossover / scheduling if JDL and LH games are
on the same day.

Spot on post. The answer to this question is US Club only provides insurance and sanctioning. They do not get involved with the rules of each league. That is up to the league administrator or in this case the five DOCs
A National Association member of the U.S. Soccer Federation, US Club Soccer is an organization committed to the development and support of soccer clubs in the United States. Among US Club Soccer’s guiding principles:
• Clubs are the vehicle through which players are developed, and US Club Soccer should help facilitate club development throughout the country.
• Clubs and their leadership should be the primary decision-makers in the structure and organization of soccer.
• US Club Soccer should provide leadership and a vehicle for clubs and technical leaders to work together to elevate the game and player development environment.
A nine-member Board of Directors, all of whom must be experienced coaches with national licensing in member soccer clubs, make policy decisions for the organization.
Through US Club Soccer, all of a club’s programs – rec, youth competitive and adult – are able to be united under one organizational umbrella, creating a “members for life” culture within each club. US Club Soccer’s programming has all been developed with strong input from clubs around the country and with a minimum of rules and restrictions to allow efficient and innovative operations. An overview of some of these programs follows.

But you know that those DOCs will put aside any benefit to their own clubs to achieve the betterment of North Texas soccer and it's players. Sort of a NTX version of Mother Teresa.

Hate to burst your conspiracy bubble on that, but Sunday morning LH games are definitely NOT a new feature this year. Had multiple such games last year.

so US Club is ok with a league that has no actual state bylaws, rules, or regulations dictating terms based on registration with their rival sanctioning entity?
ECNL which is the baby of US Club.. is all inclusive.. any player from any club can play for an ECNL or ECNL Junior team so long as they are not registered via US CLUB with another ECNL club.

I am not saying it never happened before... last year was especially an issue with the rainouts... lets go back and see if those sunday am games matched rain issues BW.
but look at the LH schedule for the 06s, the entire division, 1 and 2 are entirely played on sundays starting game day 2 and all on one field at that. Field 10.
beyond U14 Sunday games can occur.. the fall season is front loaded because of high school in the spring...
Lets see what the rest of the fall looks like for LH once the rest of fall comes out... i would love for this to be wrong...

They didn't. We didn't have rain issues last fall. It started out of the gate just like this year. Don't forget that 9v9 also messes with field assignments a bit.
