Daughter does not want to give up playing with her rec team. Was wondering if there was a list of clubs that allowed kids to play rec. Maybe this is done on a case by case basis. Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated.

If your daughter is playing in an NTSSA sponsored competitive league (LHGCL, PPIL, or APL), then she is prohibited by NTSSA rules from playing rec in any of the local municipal based rec leagues.

If her rec team plays in a PSA rec league (not PYSA - that is City of Plano... I'm talking about PSA, which is a separate private youth sports organization), then she can play with them if her select coach/club allows (but usually, they don't).

Thanks for the information. The rec league is at PSA. There are no rules against select players playing in the rec leagues at PSA. I guess they need to get approval from their coach?
