Minus the finals result, FCD Red made a big statement this weekend. Would be good if at least Kicks Selecao were in JDL. Selecao would certainly be in the mix for top 5. Kicks JM is talented just young and small. DT Central and FCD Blue have a tough road ahead. Liverpool would compete well in JDL as well. Next year, more teams join JDL and I'd expect Liverpool and Selecao to be two of them.

The JDL "powers" have no interest in other clubs joining their league.

Simply put, if you aren't an ECNL club, you won't be invited to the party.

If the goal were to have the best competition, then LP and Selecao would already be invited and participating this year.

I wish they were in JDL because they are a great team and JDL should have the best teams regardless of club affiliation. Yes, LH could have been the same and more on the merits, but once the deal was done, a league of the top teams would be best. Selecao is one of them.

The other team you mentioned that should have been in JDL is Liverpool Elite and they never advertised here that their teams (plural) were joining JDL and looking for players to join them ( advertisements and announcements here on forum ). I was just using my theory of deductions which I am apparently not good at.

Some people are objective and not here to promote an agenda that helps just their team. And others quote below the last comment.

Not sure your right about that. There were 5 postings in May and June that I found advertising the need for players. That would have been silly to say they were going to JDL when it was never true.

I don't know how much control any of the Kicks/Feet coaches had in the decision to be able to play. Maybe i'm over simplifying it, but why wouldn't Kicks just wear the Feet green and white with a Kicks patch?

That said, from what I'm hearing, outside of DTS, the competition has been fairly level in JDL, and some projections have been a bit off.

Maybe because it's a one team league. Other than DTS, what's there to glorify?

FCD Red and Solar tie appears, at least to me, as what I would expect.
I have seen Parsons and did not leave very impressed at least with what I saw that day. So I guess Pulp isn't as good as I thought they would be. I guess the same could be said for Higgy team.

a bunch of grown men (I'm assuming) making fun of 11 year old soccer. What is your real problem with JDL? My daughter is on a JDL team. Yesterday, she had a real game. Just as I did last year while watching her play D1 LH games, I cheered when the team did good, moaned and groaned when they didn't. I also left the game fully aware of the outcome. Just bc it's not posted on the internet somewhere doesn't make it any less of a league than what you are chasing after. guess how many times my daughter has approached me and said "dad, let's pull up those standings and see how we are doing." Zero. Why? Because she doesn't care and I bet most 11 yr olds out there don't care. Just don't get all of you weirdos who are talking trash about a league you clearly aren't a part of.

Totally fine. Your choice. But talking trash about it and saying DTS is the only team in there so it's irrelevant is just ignorant. If I'm not mistaken, most of these JDL teams fared pretty well in the Lavor Day tourney against D1 teams.

I know i didn't and I don't believe anyone else said they were all horrible. My comment stated I didn't believe them to be as good as I thought or others thought them to be. I didn't bash any 11 year old girls and I didn't bash any coaches, this time.
What is abundantly clear is neither LH nor JDL has all the good teams. And that in and of itself is ridiculous.

So why did you feel the need to report the scores?
When my kid scrimmages yes she knows who won, but you are correct she doesn't know or care who has won the most scrimmages.
