JDL 06 Standings 9-12-2016

Only two games were played this weekend for 06 JDL but here are the score reports I received.

Y get a life? If every parent now knows JDL is a joke and a scam. We should take back some power and at least keep score/monitor games to know what teams are on the rise and what teams are on the decline. Additionally, if some coaches, regardless of score, are truly looking at development. Are subs getting quality time in games?

Remember, some of the girls went from 2-3 games a weekend down to 1 on the basis of being even more developed or forced to go to a JDL environment because team automatically pushed that direction.

JDL is BS. Proof was in the pudding after this weekend. So let's at least track something and it doesn't just have to be about score, it could be are players getting enough time on the field as well.

I think we should track development. First someone needs to define it though

I am just offended that our little 06 group is still in the academy section.

How has JDL been debunked in two games in the youngest age?  Because one team got whipped by a great team?  Are there teams in LH that would compete significantly better in JDL?  Why is playing 2-3 games a weekend a good thing?

You people wouldn't recognize development if it smacked you in the face. Only the bigs know what it looks like. They will let you know when it's achieved. Usually happens around the $9k mark.

Since the score wasn't kept, the kids were unaware of what we might perceive as a lopsided game. This is all part of the plan.

No matter the league you'll always have your top 2 or 3 teams, middle of the pack, and bottom feeders. This is true in every league from pee-wee to pros! JDL or any other league won't change that.

Actually would prefer a league where the top 10 teams EARN their way in and EARN the right to stay.

20 teams in LHGCL D1 is ridiculous and granting teams entry into JDL because of club affiliation is equally ridiculous.

Not a believer that winning and development have to be mutually exclusive.

So now that scores are being published will ranking points be given for JDL? Can we even call this JDL now that scores are being published? How about we call this the ECNL junior league? Anyone care to handicap/rank the 10 ECNL junior teams?

Fortunately, I do not know any of you clowns that rank 9 year old girls soccer teams or go on and on about The Big 5 starting their own league, which they have every right to do.

For the record, I'm not a fan of JDL but the topic is beaten. "Let's move on to something of importance, if in fact, there is any."

Finally, it is not fact that JDL teams will win 15 of their games 9-0, 20-0 until you line up and play and record the score.
