LH Minimum # of Players

What happens when a team does not/did not have the minimum number of players for LH? What happens when a team uses a ghost player to meet the minimum?

Since the game was played (I am assuming) this would be the next step:

Q. Game Protests:
1. Written Protests: Only WRITTEN protests received by the Age-Group
Commissioner or President within five (5) days of the conclusion of the game will
be considered.
2. Protest Fee: A written protest must be accompanied by a cashier’s check or
money order in the amount of ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100THS DOLLARS
($100.00), made payable to the LHGCL which will be refunded if the protest is
upheld. The protest must follow the guidelines of the NTSSA.
3. Protest Decisions: Protests will first be ruled on by the Age-Group Commissioner
with the right of appeal to the Girl’s Classic League Executive Board. The
decision of the board is final.
4. Disagreement with Referee Decisions: It should be emphasized that any
disagreement with the referee can only take the form of a written protest filed in
the same manner as GAME PROTESTS.
5. Valid Protests: NTSSA Rules state: “There are only two acceptable causes for the
protesting of a game after it has been played. They are:
a. A team knowingly plays an unregistered, ineligible, or suspended player; or
b. There has been an obvious error made in the application of the Laws of the
Game that directly affects the outcome of the match, and the referee admits
it.”

What exactly is a ghost player? Is it strictly a player that was never on the team? What about a player that signed and then moved out of State without paying dues?

Nothing unless someone can prove something.

The term "ghost" player is a forum term. A "ghost" player would be a player on the official NTSSA roster that never shows up to play, nor ever had any intention of showing up to play. I'm not aware of the term "ghost" player showing up anywhere in the NTSSA or LHGCL rules.

If the paperwork filed with NTSSA is on the up-and-up - meaning that the "ghost" player/"ghost" parents are real people, knowingly filled out and signed the NTSSA Competitive Player registration paperwork, and provided a legitimate B/C for the "ghost" player (i.e. the coach got their next door neighbor to fill out and sign NTSSA paperwork and provide a B/C for their DD who is the right age, but doesn't play soccer...), then there's really nothing that can be done about it. If it can be proven that any of the paperwork was faked/forged... well then, now you've got a $#!+ storm brewing.

There are no rules/requirements in LHGCL that a player on the roster has to show up for and/or play in a minimum number of games.
