Solar 07 Gonzalez - Looking For GK

Solar 07 Gonzalez (previously D’Feeters West 07 Gonzalez) is looking for dedicated girls to join us as we move into select.  We are looking for every position, including goalkeeper.  This team will play consistently through May and June and will qualify for Lake Highlands.  Opportunities for tournament and scrimmage play are available.  This past weekend we finished 2nd in the Gold Division of the Lonestar Spring Shootout in Austin and will play in the Frisco Shawnee Trail Shootout in a couple of weeks.  

The team is coached by Pablo Gonzalez who has experience at both the ECNL and Lake Highlands D1 levels.  Coach Gonzalez expects his girls to compete hard in practice and games, but keeps the game fun and the girls wanting more.  There is a high priority placed on individual skills and proper technique.    

We are currently holding Open Practices for anyone that would like to attend, and will hold formal tryouts soon.  Training sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 at Harlington Park in Highland Village (2601 Harlington Dr, Highland Village, TX  75077).  For players in the Lewisville, Flower Mound, Denton, and Argyle area who want to play at a high level without driving across town, this would be a great fit.
