Solid game for both teams. 3 coaches for Solar at game. Surprising outcome after hearing about how much disruption occurred in the Solar '06 world this season.

That's a good question. Hearing rumblings that a few of them are being offered that, but what will that mean for the rest of the 07 team?

Will be interesting to see what DTS 06 does next fall.
The 05 ECNL age group has many very good teams in the Texas Conference, but the 06 age group has a different makeup in that, other than the outstanding Sting Black team, it is a poor year for ECNL clubs (Challenge, Albion, CE, Feet, and obviously Austin Sting 06 teams are all below average for their club) while most of the Texas DA teams (Solar, FCD, Dash, Lonestar) are very good in the 06 age group.
DTS has a great 06 group and would fit better in the DA playing competitive games every week. Any insight as to what they plan to do?

4 is word on the street, rest go to FCD maybe? The ~5 plus White Walkers make a pretty good team.

That would be interesting. I know there is a really good 07  playing up with Dan already & another unsigned 07 playing up on a couple of solars 06 teams, and an 07 who left KW to play 06 at FCD. If those 3 also join DM's 07 pre academy team, as I've been hearing, they will be a F O R C E. Good luck to them.

Watched a lot of soccer this weekend. Got to catch the 1st half of the 06 final . Looked like DTS was messing something. Solar was definitely on there game .

I believe Solar was missing one of their star defenders as well. Rumor has it she got put to crutches in the Semi's.

Not True, these were 06 JDL Academy players only. No 07's

The 06's have some smaller players, speed demons, but all were from the academy team. Also, there were no guest players.

Sad others don’t have facts and help spread rumors. My daughter is on the team so my info is first hand. The 16 girls on the tourney roster are the original 16 that signed in July. No guest players and no 07’s. All 16 are ‘06 original team. We are made up of past soler red and springate players plus a few others that came from other clubs. It was a hard fought game for both solar and DTS. Congrats Solar 06 on your DGIC championship!
