Who's looking?

Only a few more games left. What teams and players are looking? When will open tryouts start?

All points lead to FCD!

At this point, all teams will be looking. Location, coaching and level will be a good start to determining what is best for your DD.

The real question is who isn't looking Zizou?

There are some high level teams that are a mess right now.  So a lot of DDs are going to be looking.  It is going to be another crazy summer, just like last year and the year before...

Yes and no, most wont. Every team will take 'the right' player/parent combo. So will Solar-Colvin/Academy post here? No, probably not. If your dd is good enough, they will take her though (assuming they keep their current planets orbiting on July 1.) So every team is looking, with two caveats(is she good enough and are parents tolerable(sliding scale based on current parents)). Take any team and say they have 13 or 14 and have not advertised, and your dd slides in at #7 or 8. She's a lower end starter and they will take her. #14 or #15(now with a +1) sees the light(more bench) and goes somewhere else leaving them with 13 or 14 the same they had before.

Best bet is to reach out to the coach or manager of a team you are interested in. New team may even play your dds current team between now and then, giving coach a chance to evaluate.

From listening to 06 and 07 parents, almost everybody.

We're still a few definitive announcements away from having a clue about what leagues and which coaches will handle a lot of these teams.

With the bigs, its a continual slide toward the STX model parents have complained about for years. Sign with us, we'll let you know later.

Silence sometimes speaks loudest, but maybe that is over your head. Think about it and get back to me.

When can players start to tryout other teams? I've herd after league games are over. I've also herd after state cup? Is a release required or are the kids free to try other teams?

Any team registered with NTX cannot have tryouts until after league games AND State Cup are final. I don't believe this applies to ECNL or DA though. Others more knowledgeable can validate
