NPL vs JDL

I noticed some 06 teams, in addition to playing LH, are also playing either NPL or JDL next year. What is the difference between these two leagues for 06's next year and is one presumed more competitive than the other? I know what JDL has been in the past but I am not familiar with NPL at all. Any info would be appreciated.

Teams continue to advertise and offer JDL spots... but you need to verify that JDL is actually still in existence for next year and what your option will be if you sign and poof...

NPL (National Premier League) http://nationalpremierleagues.com/ will be the equivalent of DA2. It's basically a more inclusive league within the US Club system vs. ECNL a highly exclusive league geared for the top elite team for member clubs in each age group. With NPL more clubs are invited and it's theoretically possible to have 2 teams in the same age group/club play in NPL

By all accounts, JDL will continue as-is for 2018-19. I don't believe there will be any changes. Most clubs use JDL as a development pool to prepare talent for the elite levels and/or provide talented kids extra touches/games in a competitive environment.

FCD, Solar, Sting, even your very own club says JDL will exist.

But please continue to say it wont.

And I repeat...YOU need to VERIFY it is still in existence...

No one should sign blindly...

I could see these clubs wanting to keep both these exclusive leagues to continue to place their teams.
