B: You would expect to see this sort of congestion on the first turn (Group D). If the Spurs want back into LH, they'll have to get past two teams a nose ahead of them. The goal differential from this group may turn out to be unkind.
I think everyone saw Bracket B as being tough, but didn’t expect the overall No. 2 seed to drop to No. 15 seed. Tough to recover from that. Looks like they’ll need to get past 3 teams...

Lot of surprises...two bottom seeds win with top two seeds going down. Wow! ETX crushed is also surprising. Perhaps signing day wasn’t kind to them...

I had a hunch that Fever wouldn't be a true bottom seed in A. They had a few FCD backpacks on the sideline; last year's FCD East kids stayed home and joined the local talent.
Heinz started strong in B and faded while FCD ETX did just the opposite. Spurs faded from the promise of a good King Tut.
C was jumbled as expected, but what happened to Sting Doyle in group D? Doyle had a lackluster King Tut, with a 2-0 loss to Spurs and a 2-6 beating from FW FC. Two weeks later, they run the table and hand FW FC a 3-0 beating. Any insight on this?
