PT Winter Blast 02

Who made up the Winter Blast 02 schedule? Three 03 teams in the 02 division and two of them in the bracket with Solar Tarrant? Seems like they would have at least spread them out.

Must be something that Primetime does because they grouped all the 02 teams playing up in 01 all in one bracket also!!!

Where would you want them to put them. If they put you in the bracket with Solar Dynamo 02's you wont get out of bracket, if they put you with Samba 02 you probably dont get out, and if they put you with Webb 03's your griping that they put 2 good 03 teams in the same bracket....so really its a no win where ever they put you. Unless Samba 03 can beat Samba 02???

Put Solar Red in one of brackets with either Samba or DTS, they are the weaker team!

Not sure who Solar Red is...maybe Solar-Tarrant or SRSA-Webb 03? If that is the case than Solar Red is in the bracket with Samba and DTS...so I dont see your point?

Solar -Tarrant isnt even a D1 02 team and I thought you guys had been beating up on weaker 02 teams...so one of the 03 teams should get out of this bracket!

I don't know what you're looking at but Solar Red is in the bracket with Andromeda 02 & Solar 02 Stark. This is not the SRSA team, We'll be in Austin that weekend. The manager on the red team doesn't understand that there are two seperate teams, so the confusion!

Ok, I see...it says SRSA Webb 03 so I just assumed it was the good webb 03 team...if thats not the case than I see your point. Call TD and get it changed, maybe TD also thought it was good Webb team!

It is clear Brandon just threw this together (pool c is very weak).....no logic whatsoever.$325 should at least get proper seeding.

Pool C is weak? I would say B is weak with two 03 teams in it. Solar Tarrant will roll through them IMO.

Hats off to Samba 03 playing up in 02 silver bracket. They out physicalled 02 Solar Tarrant in the championship game 1-0. Refs were pretty bad and there were bodies flying all over. Solar will be ready next time Samba.

It was a very good game, and the refs did a poor job. I believe Solar Tarrant beat DT South 3-2 last year in another good game. This pool should provide some exciting soccer. Now we just need a good ref...

It is a shame one of these teams will not make it out of pool play. Any one of them would, most likely, win Pool C.

So do we feel that if the refs were better that Solar Tarrant would have beaten the more aggresive '03 team? Well watch out for Samba this time. They played boy's teams all Winter. They may be even more aggresive now. The game to see is if DT South and Samba get to play each other.

DT SOUTH 03 looks forward to playing both samba black and solar tarrant. Ive heard alot of good things about samba black should be a good match up. Im really looking foward to playing solar tarrant, last sdl season they beat us 3-2
they had 2 speedy fowards which scored all 3 goals and a great goalie after the game solars coach informed us they had 3 guest players from a division 1 solar team (I dont remember which one may be stark or dynamo) and of course they were the forwards and goalie. GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS HOPEFULLY ITS NOT TO COLD.

What are the odds of an 03 team making the finals? Seems like 2 of the top 3 teams (DT south and Samba) are here. Who knows what SRSA webb team shows up. That roster is always changing. Never see the same group of kids together. Red, blue, purple, webb, massimo. Seems like they have the best 03 team out there but hard to pin them down on which team is which. Funny that turftoe states the manager doesn't even know. Should be good weather. Let's settle it all on the pitch eh? Tarrant is ready for it's 2 rematches. Hope our ringer guests are available.

I am always open to suggestions in an effort to make the brackets as fair as possible. I would like to offer the following in regards to what went into this division:

7 out of the 12 teams in this division have a coach with more than 1 team in the tournament.

In addition to preventing coaching conflicts, several teams have additional schedule requests.

Further, there are teams from the same club strategically placed in pools so they do not meet in pool play or the first round of bracket play.

Seeding and team placement amongst the pools was extremely difficult and was done very carefully while taking into consideration all of the above factors.

8 of 12 teams make the bracket with a chance to win the tournament.

So, is the coach of DT South '03 the same coach that has that trash team DT "dirty" south '04?
