'04 Girls Pot o' Gold
Liverpool - 3 teams
Rowdies - 2 teams
Nationals = Solar Kennington
Galacticos = Texans Rosales
Blue Fury = Anybody know who this is?
The winner will definitely earn their trophy! Should be fun to watch.

Go99 is right. It was a great tournament. All the Parents and coaches were a class act. DT North has always been a class act. No one has ever complained about them, so don't try to come on here and drag Dallas Texans North's name through the mud. The dirty south could learn a thing or two from DT North. but your obvious goal is to try to come on here and stir up more trouble under one of your many aliases. Just let the kids play soccer and give it a rest. Your just making the Dirty South look worse with every negative post.

DT north - win some bragging rights. Redemption from their weak SDL start.
Liverpool Dalglish - show that they can play. They seem to be the most consistent of the bunch but they are not as dominating as they would've hoped.
Liverpool Beardsley - with a few more additions, they will likely also be a strong D1 team within the next season or two.
Rowdies - poor showing but don't count them out yet. This tournament will motivate them to regroup and come back strong. Despite all the DM hate, not all of his recent teams were dominant when they first started.
Solar - good team with good players. Most teams tried to win with being faster and stronger. Solar displayed a lot of skill, which usually doesn't win at this age. Kennington is doing a good job with them.
Fun tournament despite all the wind and poor field conditions.

I dont believe anyone was able to beat the Dalglish girls Sat in actual 3v3 play. They beat Galacticos 5-3 in the first game. In the finals, Galacticos did get a fortunate bounce to go their way for a goal (which is all part of the game, S happens)to get within 3-2. A bad decision moving the ball away from the goal gave them an open shot which tied it at 3. In overtime, Dalglish scored the game winning goal but was brought back for reasons Im still unsure of. It took 3 rounds of PK's for Galacticos to get the win. I think everyone knows PKs are never a good indication of a clear cut winner on the field. The games against Rowdies and Kennington pretty well dominated by the Dalglish girls. I would have to say they have and will have the team to beat.(the majority of that team was just put together a couple of weeks ago. Let them get some time on the pitch together and actually have some 3v3 practices.) All that said, Kuddos to the Galacticos girls for hangin in there and not giving up.

Liverpool Gunners has been playing together for a while. They might have added a few more girls but it is still their core group. Rowdies and Solar teams were brand new. Galacticos showed a lot of heart to come back and win that championship game and they deserved the win.
I definitely wouldn't call Gunners wins dominating. (4 to 2 against Solar and 6 to 2 against the Rowdies). If you want to see dominating scores in 3v3, just look at what Kat Webbs 03 3v3 team did to their opponents. Scores of 10 to 2, 12 to 3, 12 to 1, and 9 to 2. I think you will see a lot of good battles between all of these 04 teams during the upcoming 3v3 tournaments.

Know your stuff. There are only two girls from the Gunners that have been playing together. There were mistakes with score keeping on several games. it was 5-2 against Solar. Call it what you want Solar homer. They did what they needed to do. They wont be beat much

And if you will read what I said again..... PRETTY well dominated. Did not say ABSOLUTE domination. And a team can dominate a game or possesion and not have a huge score. Thanks for your two cents

And on top of that, the teams in that division are tough. Fairly impressive for that team of 04s and 05s to do what they did. If youre beating strong teams 6-2 and 5-2, thats not a bad showing

My daughter plays for the Solar team. They have never played 3v3 together before and never practiced 3v3 together. My daughter played for the Nationals last season, one of the girls has never played 3v3, and the other two played a couple of times for another team last season. The score was 4 to 2 (not 5 to 2) and one of the goals was because one of our girls stepped in the box. No excuses here, just stating facts. We just need more experience playing together and we will be fine.

OK, you can have the extra goal. 5 to 2 it is. I don't think anyone from Solar is too worried about it.

Re: '04 Girls Pot o' Gold
Every single team in this division can make excuses. Solar is a brand new team. Rowdies did not make a top team. Liverpool's goal got called back or they only lost because of PK's. Fact is Galacticos won the championship. They are the only ones that can say they are the best right now. In the last Quickfoot tournament two months ago, Galacticos did not do well. So what does that mean? Did they get better or did everybody else got worse?
Nobody is saying Liverpool had a bad showing or that they are not good. But how do you lose and say you dominated? My point is there is NO dominating team right now. Go watch Kat's 03s and tell me you're that good.
