But even worse than that was the fact that the games were always running 30 minutes to an hour behind, depending on what time you played. We had a late game on Saturday, and since he had run every game long, insisted on doing player introductions before every game and gave a ton of time for warmups, we started our game an hour and 15 minutes later than the scheduled time. We had kids and parents that had to leave because of other commitments. We ended up playing a kid down the entire time because of the people that left.
Fooled me once, shame on you....fool me twice? Not a chance.

True, but I only know what I know.

We played in the middle of summer and the guy refused to turn any AC on. It was hotter inside than it was outside. The thermostats are elevated on the walls around the arena. A couple of people walked around with poles turning on the AC. The guy realized this when the temperature dipped into the high 80's and immediately went and turned them off. He then went around bitching out all the spectators for costing him money. What a moron.

Additionally the jerk with the bluetooth in his ear 24/7 that ran the place would always put "his" teams (Texas Stars) on the floor for you to play against. HOWEVER, you never knew what age group you were playing. Our '03 team would be playing a group of girls ranging from '03-'00. If ownership changed, then that was all the renovations needed at that place.

That guy is a big ol' horse's rear. It took me about 5 minutes of watching him coach to realize none of my kids would ever play for him regardless of the situation.
One of my favorite stories about him is seeing him coaching in a 3 on 3 tournament on the field next to us. His team was up with only minutes remaining. He was having his boys kick the ball out of bounds as far as they could (I can say that becauseI specifically heard him telling his boys to do so). The balls from his field were flying across our field and onto the next field. Nice developmental tactics!
Anyways, after 3 or 4 of these scenarios, the other coach had a ball out ready to go. When the TS players booted the ball out again, the other coach rolled the ball out and said, "Here, use this one." Captain Equine Rear ran out on the field, grabbed the ball and yelled, "We aren't using this ball." He then turned and punted it about 4 fields over.
It was hilarious and sad, all in one.

This winter our team was in the championship game for that league. We had played the other team twice during regular season but come championship game no joke only 1 of his players was the same on the team for that team. He wasn't happy when we came back with less then 1:30 seconds on the clock and 2 down to tie the game. We ended up going to a shot out and my dd shut his boys down.

It is the same owner: MW. He has leased the place for about 2 years now and is awful. Talk about cheating and all that goes with it, this guy invented the word. Stay away, no run away.
