It was on OT game. No PK's. I also remember a certain guest player scoring at least one of those goals, maybe more than one. Now, who could that have been? : )

Oh, yeah...we got one make up call out of the two bogus reversed goals lol!
That was a great game!

I only remember one goal being called back and it was the only good call those refs made all game. Clearly the correct call. What a Face

Fever camp does not agree with the bracketing. Trust me, no cherry picking. Hopefully it gets adjusted.

Did it get adjusted?

My understanding is that the TD hasn't even returned the email or phone call yet. Maybe the TD is busy?

They need to drop feet, polaris, dynasty into silver and put fever red in gold. Also, fever white should be silver A.....IMO

I can admit that I loved Knight Rider as a kid. I also liked Baywatch, but David Haselhoff had nothing to do with my feelings toward that one!

Your right that was just an out of touch comment with reality. A team with a medical symptom name could win.

You must be the tournament director of the Labaor Day Tournament, because you are treating these 9 year old girls just like the TD is. What's your issue?

oh nevermind night rider. its always the new alias first posters that drop the dingers. cant get caught up in that.

so here's another perspective. of course fever (the medical condition team) wants to get into the gold div, but phone calls and emails aren't being returned. shouldn't a few of the teams in the gold div be contacting the tournament director to get out? we all want to have good competition and have fun right? there are a few teams in gold that are going to have a better experience in the silver div, thus making way for fever to move up.

Ok Blue Falcon it's a sign not a symptom. Now it's a cool name. They are not calling you fever people back because THEY DON'T CARE!! They want big name clubs in gold even if they are B level. Same with LH league. They want the Solar's, FCD, Texans, Sting. That's just the way it is. Small clubs can sometimes do well Im not saying it does not happen. Overall they would rather have the top dogs win it. Don't worry though if your DD can really play, she will move over to a big club someday. Just saying!! afro

Stay thirsty my friends!

Valid point. Although, girls won't leave to go to a bigger club. Something else will happen I bet.

So how do you explain Dynasty SC? I am not saying they don't belong, because I don't know much about them. However, I couldn't even find a website for them.

I find your comments very insulting. Maybe his DD doesn't want to play for a "big name club". "small clubs can sometimes do well", whatever...many small clubs do well.

Somewhere in our great nation there are small clubs doing well, but here in North Texas there are none IMHO. If you know of any please reply with the clubs and supporting club, team and player stats that validate their success. Are these clubs nationally or North Texas recognized at the competitive level? Do their teams compete well or win against top competition? And how many players do they develop that move on to higher levels of competition (collegiate or professional)?

All depends on your definition of success. IMHO.

First off, i dont know how this became about my dd. it's not like she's a backup on the purple ponies with soccerskills dd.

As far as your other points, totally true, and totally irrelevant at the same time. Certainly tournaments want the big names. Good competition, good business. But this is not a showcase. We're talkin specifically about the U10 age group in a backyard tournament. Everybody knows who everybody is and where the teams stand in general. if the director has never heard of fever, that's cool, but that doesn't make it wrong to try and get it changed. you make it sound like they dont belong. i get it, i understand the advantages of the big club. i just dont think it applies in this case.

I know you're having a little fun with bobmac, but I can't figure how Fever would be left out of gold. TD got that wrong, and plenty information floating around to get it right.

If it doesn't get changed, maybe Fever runs the table in Silver with big scores just to prove a point.

Hey, I thought I knew you from somewhere! G was kind enough to get my dd a spot on the bench for Purple Ponies too!

Seriously, I wasn't trying to make it about your dd, I was offended because the way I read his comment was that if she was good enough, then she could play for one of the "big guys". My 40yr old, pre-menopausal hormones always kick in when I think little girls are being disparaged. Although for all I know your daughter is the best soccer player ever and he might know that too. It just hit me wrong. Sorry. Embarassed

And the 03 mom takes offense. Probably rightfully so. However, I think Fever has proven themselves on the field.

DT Glotz always gets ranked above them, even though Glotz has never beat them and Fever has beaten Glotz.

Fever tied Webb the last time they played. Webb did dominate, but the Fever D kept them out of the net.

Fever won a tournament this summer that Glotz and Webb were in and Fever beat teams that beat Webb and Glotz in said tournament.

Fever beat DT South the last time they played them.

So to say Fever needs to prove it on the field, well, its already been done. Does Fever have a ways to go to really compete against DT Higgenbotham, FCD Premier and Webb, sure. But so does eveeryone else.

Not bad for a small club.

Well said. I think all clubs should protest...or better yet lets do a poll...Does fever deserve to be in gold division. My vote yes. 1 to 0. we all know the TD reads this site, and hopefully he does the right thing..Really we are all in this together. All our girls play for TEAM USA. Just my opinion. Really it shouldnt be like this. Fever needs to be in there. Maybe next yr, we all should boycott plano and play somewhere else.
