Must have been the field grade... I think that field drops like 10 feet goal to goal... How about the smell sitting over there too... The aroma off the sewage treatment plant is magnificant isn't it. Reminds me of College frat parties... I better stop there!

So have any studies been done on if sitting their enduring that smell is bad for your health? I think we may move to EAL in the Spring just so we don't have to smell that anymore, if for no other reason! The fields are amazing in Lewisville, ask Beardsley 04 they are sold!

So far, all of our games have been at either Lake Park or Railroad...

a tale of 2 halves. Rosales came out strong in the first half and I really thought that it took TBG by surprise defensively. I thought it took almost the whole half for TBG to get going defensively. I do agree that the field is very tilted so its a matter of the coach deciding when to run uphill. TBG really came out strong late in the first half and the second half. TBG did alot of the damage on counter attacks. Considering that we literally had an uphill climb in the first half and the score being 1-3, I was very proud of the girls' "no quit" attitude. And considering that Rosales put it on us a couple of months ago in a tourney, tie will do me just fine. P.S. I am a very proud TBG parent.Best wishes to the Rosales team. I hope we get to play yall in the future.

We played on that field last week and it is TERRIBLE. We had about 75% more scoring chances when the field was tilted in our direction.

And not sure about the smell causing health issues... I mean my 6 year old DD has nose bleeds and coughs for about 3 hours after games played at the SDL East fields but, you know, she plays the game hard so I don't think the toxic fumes have anything to do with it. Then again we played our first game of the year at The Colony Blue Sky yesterday and she was fine after? Hmmmm.... Ha!

Just kidding about the nose bleeds and coughing but the SDL East fields are terrible.

Yes the down hill field is bad, but to make it worse is all the ant mounds the girls have to dribble around.

Being Honest, I Thought the Game was Over when Rosales Went up 3-0...They haven't Given Up More than 2 Goals in Any Game this Season, if I'm Not Mistaken...Kudos to TBG for Not Getting Discouraged...Beating the Rowdies & Tie'ing Rosales Says ALOT about that Team...

Even though the score was 3-0, I didn't think it was over. DT North was passing really well and you could tell their players were thinking about were to pass. But with that said their 3 goals in the 1st half were almost gimme's! 2 came from when Texas Gold was attempting to do goal kicks and DTN was waiting just outside the box and 1 timed the shot into the goal....and the other goal was on a free kick just outside the box. I understand those count also, but it wasn't like they just dominated to get the goals. All of Black Golds goals were from a player/players dribbling thru the defence. Don't get me wrong...DTN looked really good and there goalkeeper made a sweet save on a one v one charge in the 2nd half! I also noticed that DTN didn't have their stud 05 player there...I assume she is still on that team.
