I agree, I think the 49 GF and 10 GA for Rosales shows that
Goals FOR or AGAINST is SKEWED...

Rosales' TIE vs. TBG &/or their 2-1 Victory Over Solar-Kennington is a Better Indicator, in My Humble Opinion...

I understand. But there should be 6 or 7 games like that in order for teams to develope. Just a couple in a season is not enough

So 6 of the 10 goals against Rosales were scored by Kennington, Elite, and Rowdies? correct?

Check this out!

So much for all the Top Texans teams being in SDL, they will mostly move to CFBSA Academy(Back yard for them) similiar to what Sting did with Primetime this Fall with their top team previously in SDL... Should be interesting!

Dalglish has been playing where they would be challenged the most. Not in any way is that ducking competition. This situation seems a little different to me

Is kinda strange that Rosales is playing up, especially as Dalglish registered for the 04 division before Rosales committed.

This would be a perfect opportunity for any team to play Dalglish. I know TX Spirit is not afraid of competition, and you know if you lose to Dalglish, you lost to a very good team. Nothin to feel bad about. If Rosales played in the tourney and lost to Dalglish, the big question of #1 would be answered. But if they play somewhere else, they can have the debate continue. IMHO

Maybe Rosales doesn't read this forum or care about rankings as we do and just decided to play up as Kennington and Dalglish did. cheers

I would bet alot of money, that if Rosales signed up in the 03 division first, for the first time ever, THEN Dalglish signed up for the 04s(for the first time in a year) Dalglish would be accused of avoiding them. Guess thats how soccer go

Rosales is an '04 Team that CAN'T Be Accused of Ducking '04 Teams...That's the Only Point I'm Trying to Make Here...

yes. I have seen a huge difference the past 2 seasons. the majority of the teams are faster and quicker, which makes our girls have to play faster, quicker and make decisions faster

Again, I have ZERO Ties to Team Rosales, but it's Hard for Me to Accuse them of "Ducking" when they've Played Practically EVERY Elite '04 Team EXCEPT for Dalglish...Again, that's like Accusing Dalglish of "Ducking" Elite '04 Teams...

Playing Lower Level '03's Doesn't Mean All that Much when Stacked Up Against ELITE '04's...In my Humble Opinion...

I want to See Rosales vs. Dalglish as Bad as Anybody Else, but I Wouldn't Accuse EITHER Team of "Ducking", Personally...

DEUCEE'sdaddy Cool

I agree, I think the 49 GF and 10 GA for Rosales shows that
Goals FOR or AGAINST is SKEWED...

Rosales' TIE vs. TBG &/or their 2-1 Victory Over Solar-Kennington is a Better Indicator, in My Humble Opinion...

DEUCEE'sdaddy Very Happy
So 6 of the 10 goals against Rosales were scored by Kennington, Elite, and Rowdies? correct?
I have No Ties to Team Rosales, so I'm Unsure...What I DO Know is that in a Field Consisting of Solar-Kennington, the Rowdies, TBG, Keegan & Texas Spirit North RED's, Rosales Came Out on Top...

I Find it Hard to Call a Team Playing THAT Level of Competition "Elusive", as it Pertains to Playing Good Teams...I DOUBT that Rosales is Ducking Anybody, if that's the Insinuation...

DEUCEE'sdaddy Cool

Just a big coincidence?
That Statement Could just as Easily Be REDIRECTED...How Many Times has Dalglish Played the Teams Rosales has Played in SDL????

It's a Two Way Street...At the End of the Day, it's Just Soccer...

My Beloved Texas Spirit North has Played just about EVERYBODY...& we Play Dalglish Saturday Morning...We're Certainly NOT Afraid of Competition, so I Seriously Doubt that Rosales is...

DEUCEE'sdaddy Cool

This would be a perfect opportunity for any team to play Dalglish. I know TX Spirit is not afraid of competition, and you know if you lose to Dalglish, you lost to a very good team. Nothin to feel bad about. If Rosales played in the tourney and lost to Dalglish, the big question of #1 would be answered. But if they play somewhere else, they can have the debate continue. IMHO

We have played upper level and lower level. We have played 2 of the top 3 03 teams. We definateley wouldnt be ducking 04s. and even most of the lower level are faster. I guess part of my beef about ducking, was the fact that Dalglish has been accused of ducking the 04s period. I didnt hear anyone disagree with that. It is what it is. Now we will be playing 04s this weekend.

The Only "Problem" w/Dalglish is the Insistence of their Parents on Being Ranked as on '04 Squad, while Playing '03's...If U're Playing '03's Primarily, THAT's Where You Should Be Ranked...

Beating Mid or Lower Level '03's SHOULDN'T Carry Tooo Much Weight in an '04 Specific Ranking...

Well, the ranking, not standings, is about "04" teams. Not about where or who they play. Its not the parents, their age is the deciding factor

If an 05 team was to beat Keegan, Tx Spirit North, Beardsley and DTS in the 04s, would that not carry any weight for their rankings in the 05s?

And better yet, if they were able to be very competitive against Rosales and solar Kenn. I think you have to factor in everything.

U10 will settle it all. when academy teams can't play up age groups anymore. until then this argument will be like beating a dead horse.

Depends on how that '05 Fared Against the Rowdies, TBG, Solar-Kennington & Rosales...Not to Mention How that Same '05 Squad Fared Against Other '05's

What YOU'RE Basically Saying is, "Dalglish MUST Be the Best '04 Team, Because we Compete w/Mid & Lower Level '03's"...But that's NOT Necessarily a Factual Statement...

"Competitive" Is Open to Interpretation...Is 3-1 Competitive???...5-2???...I have No Idea what the Scores were in Dalglish's Games vs. Elite '03's, F.Y.I, just Saying...

What I DO Know is, Dalglish & Solar TIED the Last Time they Played, Whereas Rosales BEAT Solar the Last Time they Played...& TBG Tied Rosales, yet Lost to Solar...There's Really NO Consensus # 1 '04 Team, yet Only 1 Group Seems to Complain about NOT Being Ranked # 1, while Spending the Bulk of their Time Playing '03's...
