After this weekend there was more coaches pretending to be lost in the parking lot, tying their shoes, accidentally ran into players at snack bar after they showed their stuff this weekend. Very committed group. No one is leaving. But everyone sure wanted to talk to players. Very flattering but this group is ready to do more together, parents understand the value in staying together and competing.

No offense taken but they are a sneaky team, they are always chasing a player. They are a good team and Adams is a good coach but I known him to steal players!! Just saying!!!

Actually it is Adames. Welcome to the world of academy soccer. Teams will be recruiting big time right now to try and add to their roster before signing time. What teams are the best to pick from? Rec and independent teams. Face it, it is true. If you have an older DD playing the game you know. Expect all teams to be picked at by team managers and coaches all the way until you sign the dotted line.

I meant to type Adames. He is a pretty nice guy. If your dd plays for him, he is a great coach. He doesn't pretend to be anything else. Tells you upfront every girl is replaceable.

He certainly isn't the only coach to go after a player he is interested in. We have had coaches contact us about our kid. It happens. If they are looking for something specific and your kids fits the bill...why would they not? Especially if the coach considers himself or his team an upgrade.

The rumor is the top 3 players from Polaris will be in Dt south uniforms at game time since they did a great job recruiting . What will that coach do now, LOL!

If the rumor is true, I doubt it is because of the coach. I think Polaris probably fights this battle all the time. The big red machine against the little guy. It is always an issue for smaller clubs like Polaris...they get talent and then the bigger clubs come in and take them. Even without his three "top" players (if they are gone), this team will still be competitive I think. Maybe not top 10, but top 15 at least. And sister, that ain't bad.

Before anyone freaks out on me... I am not a Polaris parent.

Shame people have try to tear others apart but I've heard this happens alot with the bigger clubs, even coaches coming on here and posing as parents, etc. Apparently big clubs get real nervous everytime a small club starts doing well, makes you wonder why?
