Lets cut to the chase and say Dynamo is out -come on? South who is normally solid failed to come through and pretty much for the most part Solar red out too. Yes the tie Grubb but cant score on lowest ranked team in tourny until stoppage time. So it boils down to Grubb and Hig.
Grubb will win and this is why.
Grubb kids are better coached as individuals. Hig may have a better coached team but Grubbs individual girls are more skilled, can shoot and are actually encouraged to make offensive runs. EveryONE of their strikers and midfielder are offensively minded. The dribbling into space with force and shooting and making moves etc. The score from way out-by dropping th eball back , header crosses , volley crosses , beating defenders one v one etc. They have two clear players who are top but the rest are not far behind and coach appears to be coaching everyone on the team -not just those two. Balls go left right and to niddle, there is not one direct plan of attack. I think the top two girls do score more but everyone looks encourged to dribble make plays and either pass or score. To me they are very dangerous from many different positions.

Yes and no, but just my opinion on the whole matter. We can see how it plays out. Assuming this will be the first loss of many for the texans against fcd.

I don't see it as cut and dried as yo#10 thinks. First thing, scores have gotten way closer over the last year. Solar Red has several big impact kids so a fast break and a 1-0 upset is possible especially cuz they just tied Grubb and now believe it could happen. Parents on Grubb, Higg, and DT South all have told me that Dynamo competes hard against them and gives them a solid game every time even though Dynamo don't have an out and out main striker. Higg was the better team in the recent league game vs Grubb according to several neutral people that were there. I think Higg and Grubb are favorites to get to the final but with U11 with 25 mph winds, anything can happen. I'll predict Higg will beat Grubb in the final by keeping Grubb's star player starved of the ball.

I saw both teams. It could go either way, FC has great individual players. I believe that the great forward will eventually find away to attack against 3-4 defenders that all teams have found a way to try stopping her. They got a few weapons on that team, should be fun and the that team will find ways to make things happen. Texans very strong and play with all their hearts, great groupd of strong girls. Let's hope them two make it to the finals.
