Oh ya, we are U14 now.
Curious, does anyone know how many of these DIII teams have to re-qualify (if they are still around)?

Haven't seen official confirmation, but based on what has been reported...
FC Dallas and Dallas Texans Red have byes back into D3 and do not have to re-qualify.
Word on the board last week was that Kicks Blue folded.
If Sting Central made (haven't been able to confirm this), rumor is that they are going to take the D2 bye vacated by Sting North (Guzman) folding and Sting Donovan (Hilton) moving up to take Guzman's D1 bye.
Again, this is what is being reported on the board and through the grapevine, but isn't 100% confirmed.

If FC Dallas (D3#7) and Texans Red (D3#8 ) have byes, that would indicate a promotion shift upward as they should've needed to requalify . . . correct?
So does this promote Strikers/Ayses (D3#3) and Redstar (D3#4) up to D2?
And what does this do to the D2 standings?

No. FWFC and Solar White would be the 2 teams moving back up to D2.

Again, this is all based on what has been reported on the forum and through the grapevine. Not 100% confirmed.
1) Sting & D'Feeters deciding not to retain their top bye in addition to forming their ECNL team.
2) Sting North (Guzman) folding
3) Kicks Blue folding
4) All other U13 LHGCL teams from last year making and returning.
If all of what has been reported is correct, then the net is 4 open U14 D3 spots to be filled via QT, with 4 "new" teams taking those spots.

Heard that Sting Central made and will take the D2 spot vacated by Sting Guzman.

We've never played on "Moneygram Soccer Complex". What is the field quality there? Lighting? Bleachers?

Money gram is at walnut hill and 36. Fields are just as good as fcd practice facilities as far as grass etc. - it is surprising because as you drive up into them you thinks it's gonna be bad, they are lit, have nice bathrooms and bleachers. Parking is ok but get there early because it was crammed at the last tournament. There is some construction northbound coming back to plano, frisco so expect it to take longer to get home than it did to get there.
