2018-2019 DA and ECNL Teams

Just wondering when all the 2018-2019 DA and ECNL rosters will be finalized? Obviously the 2017-2018 season is ending, for some age groups it is already over, and for others next year will be their first year to join the fun. Obviously big changes with Solar taking over the DTS teams, especially in the 05' and 06' age groups as DTS had very strong teams. Will Solar and FCD put their top teams in DA? Will there be a lot of player movement between clubs and/or leagues (DA vs ECNL)?

Yeah, solar will fill their DA teams with their top players. They will look to create strong ECNL teams with their depth of players they have consumed in the club.

The DA and ECNL rosters may not be "official", and may not be on paper yet, but I guarantee you they are 95% complete at this point, and those players that the coaches/clubs know they want on those rosters, have been told that they have spots. If your kid hasn't been told she has a spot yet, I'd have a backup plan in place.

Yes I agree, if you have not received an offer at this point start leaning torwards your plan B.

As for your next question, wait until July 1st and beyond to find out who did what and where.

Should be an entertaining year.
1. New Solar 05 DA : Old DTS 05 plus a few 05 solar players
2. Fcd picking up 8 solar DA and couple of feet players
3. Texans DA not picking up fcd or Dts players that were cut from fcd and solar DA
Most important:  All three new 05 DA coaches

All of this is very interesting. Sounds like someone is familiar with the 05' age group. Anyone know what the shake up will be with the 04' and 06' DA/ECNL teams? I agree 100%, that if you do not know where your DD stands in regards to the team they want, time to move on to plan B. Top players are already rostered or have been given a spot.

Bod, I would go easy on the 99% set done for Sting ECNL, Feet ECNL and FCD DA.   I still hear some rumblings indicating someone is still moving furniture in those quarters.

Solar DA is pretty much 100% set.

Speaking on the '04 FCD GDA, not much shake up other than an intra club promotion and what looks like will be 3 or so additions from Solar.

FCD DA is set (pretty confident on that from up high), Texans DA is a cluster

What are thoughts on the best teams in each age group in NTX(04-06)? Sounds like DT will be at the bottom in regards to the DA teams in NTX, where will the DT teams stack up against the ECNL NTX teams? Will FCD have a strong 06 DA group? Looks like 06 Solar DA will be really strong with 06 DT struggling a little bit.

Okay. My DD is a 2000. I’ve been off the net for a while.
Are we really asking about the dominance of 12 through 14 year olds ? That for some reason seems funny to me. I’m technically not in the pre teen peer group anymore but I don’t recall discussing the dominance of little girls . No disrespect intended. The concept is funny though.

C'mon now lee ... As if that wasn't being done with your group just a few years ago.

This forum is top heavy now, and has always been, regarding discussion of dominance of those ages groups ... and younger really -- See the '04 RASE group from U10-U12, or the '05 DTS and '06 Sting Black groups more recently.

‘Ol’ Vik was just a year too early with his ‘00. How many different rankings did we have with the ‘01’s when they were U10? 3 or 4?

To give a little perspective...When our 99/00s were entering that first ECNL year, I asked the question if the teams that were leaving LH to join ECNL would keep their LH spots and just pass them down...and people laughed at me...I asked what would keep them from retaining the spot and “awarding” that spot to the next team in the club and people laughed.

That year, nobody did. They took 5 new from QT and nobody was relegated.

The next year and since, those spots have become “club” spots. I see you VLee and we did discuss it, but not like much of what you see here. More civil and more humor...less venom. Certainly some arguing, but a bygone era...nostalgia...btw, most of you posting here will watch your girl NOT want to play college even if given the offers because of the trade offs. Enjoy the ride. They are only babies once.

When we played (probably) our biggest rival in his last game as a coach, our girls went over and thanked him for all the years of battles after the game. Standing ovation for him. Very cool.

At the end of the day most people could care less whether Suzi Q  moved up moved down or if they switched clubs. If you are worried about Suzie Jones then you have more problems.

I personally cannot remember a time where things were only civil and no venom was spewed. Some meltdowns have certainly occurred on here in past years.
However the years since with AP, DA etc..... has stirred the pot consistently these past few. I think more turmoil hence more bickering.
