waa-waa. There is no crying on here. Too many "but"s in DD Daddys and your post. So are you mad because Liverpool won? Did they use players outide the club? Older players? Im sure we can find at least a hundred posts on here where WE demanded RASE to play down in an 04 tourney. Now we get a team with a partial RASE roster and they win it and NOW yall crying because yall lost BUT yall not complaining. HAHHAHA.

I would love to play RASE or against them every other week. And tell my DD she better tighten the shoe laces up and bring the A game. If we lose, we lose. Quit feeding them excuses. I have yet to find an allstar playing for alosing team. Wins matter, thank goodness. If you buy into the "its OK that we are losing now, we will be a better team in a couple years, you watch!", I got some magic water I wanna sell.

And kneeling for injuries is over-rated. I want my DD getting hydrated and getting last second instructions, and communicating with teammates.

lol it is funny to see sweet, quiet little beardsley go from obscurity to being the evil empire. The manager lies and will do anything to win, players are disrespectful, arrogant, dangerous, and downright unsportsmanlike. Wow win a few games and everybody hates on you. lol.

Ok, I've sat here and laughed at some of the outrageous stuff being posted, but the last few posts are just out there. First, my dd was one of the RASE players that played. Here's how it went down...we got an email on Monday from the Dalglish manager that said AFC wanted another 04 team in the tourney and Dalglish had lots of girls out of town, would any RASE girls be available to play? First come first served. I emailed that my dd would be in town. The team was made up of 6 Dalglish girls (1 being the goalie) and 5 RASE girls, so of course RASE girls were going to play---they made up half the field players.

I was at every game and saw no poor sportsmanship and heard nothing of the type of thing that Jazzmart claims. Seeing what one weekend will bring out in the 04 parents makes me happy my dd's team usually plays in the 03 division. I'll take the brief respite as long as I can get it.

I can't seem to find what the LP paretns are reading... Can you find one post of anyone on here complaining about RASE players being used? As far as I can tell, they were glad to play against them. The issue was simply very clearly somone getting fed up with the BS of "we play great soccer and don't care about wins... we are all about development"....

It is the LP parents who are making this into something else. As far as Jazzmart's claims, who knows if true or not. It true it will eventualy come out because more teams will see it.

Er, just a guess but perhaps their DD's being called Arrogant may have hit a nerve! 8 year-olds, really?

ah but it was suggested that the rase players were being used just so that lp could win the tournament and my assertion is that is not true. The whole "my coach is better than yours" is another topic which I would be happy to post on. If I didn't think so I would be at that team instead regardless of the record.

Was not really talking about Jazzmart... I agree it's not a requirement to take a knee during injury. This is not arrogance.

Now for a forward to smack talk a goalie, that's another story. I certainly can't say this happened as I was not there. Yes this happens at the older ages but at age 8... That would be pretty bad.

This is funny stuff...... we have one guy on here who thinks LW is the greatest developmental coach of all time just one week removed from being completely out coached in the legends final. However, I will give LW the award for most classy coach as I have seen him and how he reacts to losing, He is a true sportsman & so is his teams.

Then we have the grassy knoll (or not so grassy knoll) on why lp Dalglish was using Rase players this past weekend, and I do tend to agree that they did so really wanting to win this tourny After a tough defeat by the Texans North last week, and it seems as though it worked. It is however very funny to me that they would be saying they are all about development when I have seen much to the contrary. If lp was all about development then wouldn't it make since to not have a team built with all elite players? don't you think letting some of the girls who skill level needs to improve play with the elite girls make more since in regards to development (or are you afraid to lose)? I mean don't you think the girls that are not so elite should get to play with the girls who are so they can experience that skill level and learn from it. Don't get me wrong I understand why you want to build an elite team of players........too WIN!!!!!!!!!!! right? That's why I would, cause I love to win. Nobody is complaining about anything. I think this is just a case of a straight shooter tired of hearing parents from lp say things that are not true. Just accept it lp Parents, your club is about winning & that's a good thing if you ask me.

Then we have Nocrying a former outspoken Lp Dalglish & Rase Hater on here supporting Lp and calling people out for complaining, and why? Because his dd got to Guest play for one tourny and he really wants his dd to play for the sooooo called best team....... NOW THAT'S FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Check my previous post. When we played with TBG(DT North not so much) we tried working a way of facing the top teams, RASE included. TBG was that good! I sure was an advocate of getting RASE to play 04 teams. Having played with TBG and RASE and against all the other teams that deserve top 5 rankings, RASE is hands down the BEST. You are darn skippie Homie, if I didn't live in Garland and closer to the Colony, my DD would be begging to play for LW. And if she doesn't play for LW, we wanna play against his teams! My DD is not scurrred of a little competition.

My point was very simple when it comes to you and your comments. just find it funny you come on here and say the things you say. I think you need to go back and read some of the things you have posted about lp (so you don't look so foolish). Did you even read that half hearted apology to lp thread back to yourself before you hit send? I have no Idea how many guest DTN had in the legends tourney nor do I care, cause it doesn't Matter. the point was that lp is not about development it's about winning, just like the rest of the top teams are. lp is no better and show me the Rase track record of being hands down the best 04 team, last I checked they have only played one 04 team and they got beat in PK'S.

There' NO Crying Here, NO Complaining & NO Requests for Sympathy about what Happened ON the Field...My Daughter would Play Against Rase Every Single Weekend if She Could...Hell, the Tournament was Over SUNDAY Afternoon, yet It Wasn't Until Early WEDNESDAY Morning that I Even Commented...What Provoked me to Comment was the Notion that Dalglish' Coach is OBLIVIOUS to Wins & SOLELY Concerned w/"Development"...Sorry, but Having Seen Every Bit of @ Least 2 Games Last Week, that WASN'T the Way he Coached or Subbed...

I Coach Youth Basketball & Yes, Development is Important, but when that Ball is Tipped, my 1st Priority is to WIN that Particular Game...RESULTS Count...WINNING Breeds Confidence & the Desire to Continue Developing...

I will try to explain it one more time. The point was made that there was a secret to beating the rase team and that the other teams should do it. I made the point that if a anti rase tactic exist then it would probably work because LW would not change the way they play just to win the game. could care less what you think and most of the so called experts in soccer would disagree with you and your views of youth soccer. It is often argued that the focus on winning in youth soccer "is" the problem here. Not by just LW but by people alot more involved in soccer than him.

Wow, you guys are having fun. I will say my kid will never take a knee because someone is hurt. I will yell at my kid and have if she does that. As they get older they need to stretch or meet as a team as the injured player is being attended. The rest of the stuff you guys are talking about means nothing, but please keep going for my free entertainment. Please see select age groups forum if you need confirmation. Everyone needs to know as parents that everything you post or say can and will be used against you down the road(Just don't be that parent who's kid can't go to a team because of you). All the people you hate will be your teammates in the future.....understand you have been warned.

oh and trying to win, wanting to win, is different than sacrificing what you teach or your view of soccer to win. Chelsea beats Barcelona in the champions league by closing the game down and it worked. A great tactic for a pro team. Not something I would want to see on a youth team. I sat with a coach Bobby Rhine as he talked about his older team learning to play the "right" way (his right was is different than LW). That it was all about style of play and getting them to be consistent in executing and imposing their style on the game. He said he was just introducing the concept of playing soley to win. They were 13/14 yrs old. Of course he was just an ex player with years of coaching experience and training and his team only went on later to win the Dallas cup. it only falls in line with Wenger and Guardiola but hey what do those guys know anyway.

To those posters saying that taking a knee is not necessary, cool. I am down with that. My daughter played in 8 games in the past two tournaments - 5 in Legends and 3 in AFC and in virtually every game someone got dinged and players on both sides, usually at the urging of coaches and parents, took a knee. I thought that was part of youth soccer etiquette. I'm somewhat new. My fault.

Taking a knee is a part of NTX Rec soccer.

I was hoping you would respond. (DTN-Deleon/DT-Doyle/Juve/Lady Aztecs) used 5 guest players at the legends tourney. We left DTN right after the Spring season was over and they were not on the roster or even on the radar. They do not get a single win without the guest forward scoring the tieing goals in one match and the winning goals in another. Now you tell me who is interested in winning. You had 2 girls that have been on your squad all year long and you choose to leave them on the bench except for a max of 5 minutes.

And I might be wrong but I believe RASE might just have changed from Dalglish in the past.

Then we have the grassy knoll (or not so grassy knoll) on why lp Dalglish was using Rase players this past weekend, and I do tend to agree that they did so really wanting to win this tourny After a tough defeat by the Texans North last week, and it seems as though it worked. It is however very funny to me that they would be saying they are all about development when I have seen much to the contrary. If lp was all about development then wouldn't it make since to not have a team built with all elite players? don't you think letting some of the girls who skill level needs to improve play with the elite girls make more since in regards to development (or are you afraid to lose)? I mean don't you think the girls that are not so elite should get to play with the girls who are so they can experience that skill level and learn from it. Don't get me wrong I understand why you want to build an elite team of players........too WIN!!!!!!!!!!! right? That's why I would, cause I love to win. Nobody is complaining about anything. I think this is just a case of a straight shooter tired of hearing parents from lp say things that are not true. Just accept it lp Parents, your club is about winning & that's a good thing if you ask me.

Check my previous post. When we played with TBG(DT North not so much) we tried working a way of facing the top teams, RASE included. TBG was that good! I sure was an advocate of getting RASE to play 04 teams. Having played with TBG and RASE and against all the other teams that deserve top 5 rankings, RASE is hands down the BEST. You are darn skippie Homie, if I didn't live in Garland and closer to the Colony, my DD would be begging to play for LW. And if she doesn't play for LW, we wanna play against his teams! My DD is not scurrred of a little competition.

Ok Nocrying, I'm not going to get into a pissing match with someone of your character (or lack there of). My point was very simple when it comes to you and your comments. just find it funny you come on here and say the things you say. I think you need to go back and read some of the things you have posted about lp (so you don't look so foolish). Did you even read that half hearted apology to lp thread back to yourself before you hit send? I have no Idea how many guest DTN had in the legends tourney nor do I care, cause it doesn't Matter. the point was that lp is not about development it's about winning, just like the rest of the top teams are. lp is no better and show me the Rase track record of being hands down the best 04 team, last I checked they have only played one 04 team and they got beat in PK'S.

Oh and I don't remember anyone calling your dd scared (that was left field), or did you mean something by that comment? There is no way you tried to get anyone to play Rase cause Rase wasn't around then.

I was hoping you would respond. (DTN-Deleon/DT-Doyle/Juve/Lady Aztecs) used 5 guest players at the legends tourney. We left DTN right after the Spring season was over and they were not on the roster or even on the radar. They do not get a single win without the guest forward scoring the tieing goals in one match and the winning goals in another. Now you tell me who is interested in winning. You had 2 girls that have been on your squad all year long and you choose to leave them on the bench except for a max of 5 minutes.

And I might be wrong but I believe RASE might just have changed from Dalglish in the past.

Bitter? maybe. But not a whiner. you proved my point. Winning is what we all are chasing. Just thought it was funny that you took exception to an earlier post when they called your team DT-DeLeon/Doyle. I know that every team probably has its skeletons in their closet, it just so happens that I know the ones hiding in DTN's closet.

Is that really in your moderator guidelines that you stop a poster from having a negative thought about a club or a team or a coach? I agree 100 percent on the kids, but this is a forum. Please explain your guidelines................

I will only ever delete or modify a thread/post if a kids name or number is called out. I will also remove curse words from posts. Other than that I try to moderate the forum in hopes that the content actually adds value to, and strengthens, North Texas Soccer. The constant tearing down of coaches and clubs and sadly, once in awhile, our DDs doesn't accomplish this. But if people want to bash others I can't stop them.
