After listening to her critique the US players game speed decisions for 90 minutes, I 100% agree with Hope - she needs to stfu.

Just like youth soccer, the climbing coaches and parents sure seem to find a lot that their athlete could do better! Hopefully, sport climbing will be included in the 2020 Olympics (the IOC will decide next year) and I'll have a chance to put my $ where my mouth is.

Sorry, Blank. I still agree w/RLW. I think less of Hope Solo now than I did before her fingers hit the keyboard earlier this week. While representing the US Nat'l Team, I think the athletes need to take the high road.

I'll admit that Hope does need to grow up a little, but worst case she is about on par with an average 20 something in the spotlight.

I guess if one of your goals is to increase ratings for soccer then having Hope Solo act like the Meta World Peace of the womens side is probably only going to help. I think her reaction is a little immature but what is BC supposed to say during that 90 min? just one giant love fest a la Paula Abdul on American Idol? It's all good. We need color in the world and Hope Solo brings it. At least no one is saying it's too boring to watch.

Well, sure. But since he became Meta Whirled Piece, he violently and blatantly elbowed James Hardin and knocked him out, which resulted in a 7 game suspension in the NBA playoffs.

I was only referring to her being so controversial. If she what she did isn't that bad then why is everyone freaking out like she did? You kind of argued the point for me. And to say it's the most ridiculous thing you've ever read on this board? That's the overstatement of the day. I was being ironic.

Could someone point out the sarcasm emoticons for me? I thought it would be implied.
