Re: Week 11 Results
Some observations...
The ref sucked. Holy cow, the ref sucked. It's that old dude, father time, you know, the one that sees a girl that fell on her own and blows the whistle.
Predator Goals:
Predator's first goal was on a PK. Valid shot, keeper got her hands on it, but it went in.
Predator's second goal was a juggling act down the field, player made a great shot that no 10 year old keeper could stop.
Sting Goals:
Midfielder booted one from downtown that sailed into the top corner. No chance a 10 year old keeper could stop it
Second goal, was set up off another blown call (how can you have an obstruction call in the penalty box and call it indirect? The only indirect call I know of in the penalty box is a foot pass back to the keeper and the keeper picks it up). Ball went out of bounds, resulting in a corner which Sting put in.
This ref needs to leave the game. A Sting forward was robbed in the penalty box and it was called outside (This was right after Predator got a call in the penalty box that resulted in the PK score).
Blown hands calls, blown throw-ins...I mean, it was hands down, the worst officiating I have seen this season - EVEN FROM THIS GUY!

Actually, obstruction in the Penalty area is usually an indirect FK not a PK.

I need to correct you our "Suzie" superstars actually got 2 shot's off on goal and it was 8-0 thank you very little.
And Castro boy's are good nothing to be ashamed of getting smacked around by them there no joke, some sweet goals these boy's pulled off.

Great competition, but man...pool B is going to come out smelling like a rose....not particularly legit with QT seeding coming up.

QT seeding will not be affected by this tournament (unless you want to claim butterfly effect in some way down the road).
All of the top 6 teams in this tournament will make it into Division 1 in the first week of the QT so they shouldn't worry too much about this tournament which takes place during the first week of May.
With that sad- yes switch either RASE or Sting for either FC Dallas Premier or Feet and it seems a bit more balanced.

Re: Week 11 Results
we went to see this showdown and were disappointed in the fact the ref seemed like he wanted to be the focal point of the game, he none the less was hit by a ball or blocked a moving player over 10 times that we counted
He really needs to be removed and not allowed to ref at this level again
As for the game, it was very even in play, the goal at the end of the game for the Predator forward was just ridiculas, would of been top 3 on SportsCenter
The 1st goal by Sting, that shot scores until these girls are 14 years old
Glad we went to watch

SolarPower - I would have rated them low. I haven't been impressed with this group of refs all year.
Fathertime needs to go because the guy no longer has eyes for the game.
The uber fat guy, Bubba, as we will call him, just mozies back and forth within the center circle. Yeah that works well. Fogettabout it if he's your line judge, might as well count on no offsides being called the entire game unless it happens right where he is.
Other line judges aren't old enough to have pubes, and won't speak up to, let alone challenge the center when the center is older.
Very few officials in this age group of TGPL are worth a darn. What a sad thing when the level of play of 10 year olds outclasses the vast majority of refs.

Am I the only one who sees the irony and ineptitude of this post on multiple levels?
(1) Poster name - NoFanOfDrama. Everything submitted is loaded with drama.
(2) Your previous post - "Second goal, was set up off another blown call (how can you have an obstruction call in the penalty box and call it indirect? The only indirect call I know of in the penalty box is a foot pass back to the keeper and the keeper picks it up)."
Where to start? First, there is no "obstruction" call in soccer. Impeding perhaps? I'm sure that's what you meant. Second, as a previous poster pointed out (and which you declined to acknowledge), the ref got the call right on an IFK for "obstruction" (impeding). Third, there are multiple fouls which could result in an IFK call in the penalty box, not just a back pass to the keeper. This is a good time to spend some time doing a search at AskARef.com.
Hey, perhaps these refs really did suck. I get that. But if your argument that they suck reveals your lack of knowledge of the LOTG's... then such an assertion loses credibility. They're too old, too fat, too young, too blind. The pay sucks and they have to listen to parents scream things like "direct kick" and "obstruction" all day long. Were you expecting 30-something college grads with a perfect command of the English language to be lined up for the position?

Re: Week 11 Results
Most parents on the sideline do not know anything about soccer other than the fact they are paying for thier DD to play, so that makes them experts
But the refs in this league are horrible, needs to get fixed by the league or they are going to start losing customers
