I was just glad to see the restrictions on some of the "musical" instruments.  Chanting and singing?  Great.  Mindlessly blowing a vuvuzela when there is nothing to celebrate or banging a drum for 90 minutes?  I won't miss either.

A father from our team supervised the grass placement for prior games at Cowboy's Stadium (ie:  Barca v Club America in 2011, Brazil vs Mexico & others) together with a separate sod provider.  The top clubs are VERY particular about the turf and had the power to refuse to play if it wasn't top shelf.  This year that provider cut a deal to lay it with just his guys (non-landscapers) without my friends group and yes, it did suck.  Great games but a lot of slipping on the edges this year it seemed to me from our seats (and NO vuvuzelas allowed, but a drum beating 4 rows down from us seemed a little less annoying).  It's not the quality of the grass but how well it fits together without gaps filled in by those "buckets of green sand."  Then they water it all like mad all night and at every break to keep it alive and soft.  Hopefully if we are to get more big games here Jerry's guys won't repeat this mess.  Those "professionals" are valuable property of someone and don't need to suffer a high ankle sprain or worse due to crappy fields in a friendly or Gold Cup Semi (unless it is a WC qualifier where anything goes it seems).
