9/7-8 Scores
LP Barnes 0
That's what happens when you outshoot your opponent 14 shots to 4, they shoot well but you don't hit the side of WalMart. Congrats to FCD premier, their consolidation has improved their top team to a level above last season.

Dallas Rush Deleon - 0
Score does not reflect actual game, margin should have been much larger. Sting keeper never touched the ball the entire first half, then only three times in second.

Doesn't say that much for Sting's offense if that was the case.Cleansheets wrote:Sting East Chacon White - 2

Both goals that Sting scored were fluke goals, so it is true that the score did not reflect the actual game.FieldofDreams wrote:Doesn't say that much for Sting's offense if that was the case.Cleansheets wrote:Sting East Chacon White - 2

Score is not indicative of the actual game... great PK save by Spirit GK.

Fluke goals? Yeah right, I don't know what game you were watching. Sure, Sting was a little slow to get their offense going but otherwise dominated ball control and shots on goal.TBGsoccer wrote:Both goals that Sting scored were fluke goals, so it is true that the score did not reflect the actual game.FieldofDreams wrote:Doesn't say that much for Sting's offense if that was the case.Cleansheets wrote:Sting East Chacon White - 2

Re: 9/7-8 Scores
Yea, you're right, they did. So what. But to post and bash about a team's lack of ball possession while your team walks away with only 2 goals doesn't say too much about Sting's offensive game or inability to finish a play. If you count all those shots-on-trees as goals, then the margin of victory would have been something like 10-0, give or take.Cleansheets wrote:Fluke goals? If you want to watch a team dominate ball control go watch RASE play, what you saw was kick-n-run buddy.Cleansheets wrote:Fluke goals? Yeah right, I don't know what game you were watching. Don't worry about RASE, worry about your new team coach.TBGsoccer wrote:If you want to watch a team dominate ball control go watch RASE play, what you saw was kick-n-run buddy.Cleansheets wrote:Fluke goals? Let the parents do the talking and have fun. Our team dominated and keeper didn't even get in the action.

Re: 9/7-8 Scores
A top-10 team that hardly completed 3 passes in a row with only 2 goals is domination? C'mon man! Domination on one side of the field, yes. Domination in terms of clean passing, receiving, multiple touchs and goals like an LFS, Scott or Barnes team...far from it. Good luck when you play them! Big kick-and-run won't work for your team against others.soccerallday17 wrote:Was a complete domination by sting chacon IMO. We didn't play the best, but still were far superior. Don't really know if Deleon belongs w the big girls. Also TBGsoccer.... That rings a bell, doesn't that stand for Texas Black Gold soccer?? As in Texas Black Gold soccer team, as in Deleons original team. Which means we have Coach Deleon as TBG soccer taking up for his new team Dallas black Gold Texans Rush sting club.

Nice diagnosis Dr. Freud.ballboy wrote:In my experience, when someone says, "we should've beat them by more" or "score doesn't indicate how the game actually went", it's just another way of saying our team isn't as good as we think it is.

Thank you. I'll be here all week. Good luck to your DD today. A win today will be very respectable and a nice way to round out Week 1 of the Fall.Cleansheets wrote:Nice diagnosis Dr. Freud.ballboy wrote:In my experience, when someone says, "we should've beat them by more" or "score doesn't indicate how the game actually went", it's just another way of saying our team isn't as good as we think it is.
