Re: LHGCL Picks & Commentary 9/28
Aside from the first week srsa game
What has happened different in the Texan's camp to have them not scoring more goals??
I can see the srsa win- they have been practicing all summer came off a Labor Day tourney and are a top team - no offense to the other two. But texans didn't practice in summer except for CO tourney and they didn't play Labor Day. So that win makes sense to be . But to get beat by Rush - who I think is a good team , but not at same level and tie Gio- there has to be some shift to occur. I heard there were several missed open net goal vs Rush as well as a PK - but that happens in tense situation. Just trying to reason it out. Something has occurred to make Texans (who were once such a scoring threat) less offensive, any answers out there????

What I saw of the game (I didn't watch it exclusively as my dd was playing too) but everytime I was watching Solar was dominating the game. They were putting high pressure on DT back line and making DT keeper work. Solar looked like they came to play and DT was scrambling trying to put players in right positions. At one point DT subbed I think his whole bench out at one time.whoshotjr wrote:True true if that's the case- anyone at the game to comment on the tempo? I mean were tx dominating with shots and one lucky goal get thru on Gio's team or did Solar dominate or was it 50/5O????

Out early and saw this one finish 2-2. Owen had to come from behind twice with Dalglish the better team for much of it.02SuburbanSoccerDad wrote:D1
Sting vs D'Feeters 3-0....Feet doesn't pose much of a threat here
Solar Gio vs Texans 1-2...Texans get back on track
Solar Red vs Texans S...3-1 Mighty 03's strike again
Rush vs FCD Premier 0-3...Rush a step behind on offense
FCD Blue vs Andromeda 1-2....home pick...Andro getting better.
D2
Cosmos vs Saints 0-3...will cosmos win a game this fall?
Sting Central vs Sting East...1-3...East too strong
Sting N vs Celtic...1-1...teams just feel even to me.
Waco vs FCD S Red...0-2. Waco struggling so far
Dynasty vs Beiber Beiber Beiber Fever..0-2. Dynasty hits wall as competition steps up
D3
LP Owen vs LP Dag 2-0....I have to think LP Dag 4 goals last time was an anomaly.
Rush Stark vs FWFC 1-0. Good match. Rush more together on Off.
FCD East Red vs FC Prem 1-0. Will FC Premier win a game this fall?
Mustangs vs Andro 2-0...changing of guard. Andro appears a mess.
D'Feeters vs LP Thompson..0-2. Thompson better at both ends.
