Official '06 FBR Oct. 9th, 2013
A few notes:
1) There is a team out there we do not speak about, you guys can guess who!
2) The teams currently listed in the FBR rankings have been confirmed as registered to play in an '06 division of a girls NTX academy league or Tournament for Fall 2013, AND, have a minimum of 3 games played against other '06 opponents in the past 16 weeks.
3) There will be movement up and down by teams as the season progresses (some being significant) as league play wraps up and teams are reassigned Tier rankings. By the holiday break from league and tournament play we will see a solid set of data and a firm FBR.
4) If you do not see your favorite team they either have less than 3 games vs. '06 competition or have no game data reported. PMs with scores are welcome and all anonymity will be kept.
5). Next week's FBR will include League and level of play designation for each team listed.

The way the model works once fleshed out is any team within 5 places of your squad should be able to win or loose on any given day by a 1-2 goal margin.
Seasons are wrapping up soon and the top 25 or so are solidifying. Once the fringe teams start reporting a few more scores it will really help to solidify it.

Same thing in the BCS where they say somebody like Oregon will fall below the SEC because last opponent will drop them based on SOS. The only thing that saves them is more votes in the human poll for a 66-7 thrashing.
You know since the BCS, teams will calculate what kind of opponent they need in 2019 to make numbers strong. It could be one non conference team while another needs two strong non conference because league play is sub-standard. Thats why Boise State was always traveling to play top 25 teams multiple games because there conference ratings were so weak.
Borussia does a great job for FREE! He is a CPU nerd though.

There is way more to it than just strength of schedule.MiddleClass wrote:Its all Strength of Schedule. SDL is tops, CFB is second and PT is third. Your going to drop no matter what if you play number 50, etc.

I would say based on FBR
SDL 9v9 Platinum would be #1 (Chacon, Roach, Spirit, Armstrong)
After that its a crap shoot. Way too many lopsided scores for a handfull of teams. Does that mean those almost brand new squads are ready for "primetime" or they are facing kids that are not ready for what is being asked of them. We shall see...
One thing is for sure.. its becoming easier and easier for me to group the Tiers.
I will see if I can post that this evening... that might generate a buzz... hahaha
will just have to wait until after my 09s finish practice!

Great I will let them know on the boys forum that you will be bringing FBR over there for the 09 boys....given they do nothing like that over there...you will be well received.Borussia wrote:Im not touching that one with a 10ft pole. They are BBs, and yes, they can ball! Little buggers have all stepped it up and having a ball.
