More accurate to say that the rumor is Bubb is leaving Texans for what he feels are greener pastures... As a result, Texans scrambled and have wrote Q a blank check. Q left the Sting in a professional way, as much as possible anyway..
Where are these greener pastures that Bubb is heading to?
Word is to a Club in Florida that is starting ECNL this coming year....
How in the world did some crappy second rate club in FL get an ECNL invite over Liverpool?
Sorry, I could not resist.
Pure Genius!!

Re: Texans Rezaie
Last year we were ready to leave and he called me 5xs and talked me out of it. That showed me he really does care and even offered to help us financially if we needed.
I know my kid is no super star, but the man has a heart and I really liked the guy.
His few weak spots: Has a tendency to favor some over others, but IMO, I think all teams have that. He also is defensive oriented and the offense suffers.
I think overall if I had to grade him, I'd give him an A. I thanked him personally for developing my kid the right way and wished him the best.

1. This is upward mobility in his career; makes sense.
2. Higg take the 00's because of his position at TCU. As freshman next year, and maybe even se this year, that's got NCAA violations all over it.
3. Doubt there's a holdout. I think he simply walked away to take a better gig.

Re: Texans Rezaie
I see a few players who can dribble , maybe not pass but dribble. Perhaps the superior players will " try out " for Higgy team at end of the year. It doesn't appear that these 13 less superior girls are doing very well this season without the help sounds like sour grapes to me, for whatever reason.

Referee wrote:Believe it or not, Qs team has a few superior players. Much, much better than Higgs, especially on the defensive end. Higg has a superior team, but as individuals, I don't think so.
WOW Ref…
It is a new day... now take off your rose colored glasses…
What does that even mean? Have a superior team but not individuals? Aren't we always saying it takes a strong team of individuals and not 1 star player to make a successful team…. wonder how do they do it?
At least base your disillusion on Q record vs Higg... It has been a pretty big deal when anyone has even scored on the top 2 dogs in the league. Do not recall Q winning or EVEN scoring on Higg or Grubb in 2 years of LH or tourneys. Is that because Higg has a weak defense or Q offense sucks…(oops) suffers like you said earlier? "Q is defensive minded…offense suffers". By the way…when was last time Q had a shutout in U12 LH? NEVER…What other team has shut out FCD?
I tend believe the stats...just say'n
7 vs 20 and every game in LH so far Q been scored on. Stellar defense…must 2nd best in the league...Q defense just one "much" less better than FCD? Or, in your HO, who is the best defense??? Do tell!
No crud on the street for you to be talking defense...
BTW... bet the bank your "kid is no super star" dd (as you said, not me) plays defender, yes?

Re: Texans Rezaie
I DID mean to slam ref for being a parent on that team and throwing careless comments out there like that when stats don't back it up.
However, everyone entitled their opinion…Ref just doesn't seem to be so humble about it.

Be fair
happygilmore wrote:Referee you have personal issues with Higgy's team, went back and read your old post probably 90% slamming them , their players! parents or coaches. Most likely anime resentment there, but let it go and get a life. It's a personal opinion cuz you have issues with a 12 year old team. 100% agree with Sideline.
Sting Higgy is the 2nd team in the D1 for a good reason. They are solid to great in all positions and have been playing great team soccer for the last couple of years. Sting Brown is not as good with no consistent midfield/offense despite of a strong defense. The win-loss record after 14 games tells an accurate story where the teams are. Luck has little to nothing to do with where the teams rank. Overall, Sting Higgy is a superior team!
