Also, DTS ties Sting Higgy today,beats Fc Dallas Premier last week. Makes for an interesting State Cup next weekend.

To bad Higg and South are in the same bracket. Only one will make it out.

But didn't Fc Dallas Premier beat Dts in the international cup?

It appears the gap has closed amongst the top 4 to 5 teams.

Dont get all butt hurt, sometimes teams just aren't as good yet. Don't get all emotional and throw out nonsense. It will be ok...promise.

I don't think El Rey is a Fever parent. I think he/she is a pot stirrer.

Looks as though Fever held their own very well this weekend. They may not have made the finals (tough bracket with Higgy & South) but a very good showing! Their girls should be proud of themselves for sure.

I told you guys that Fever would come to play. They almost made it to next week. Look out for them in the fall. Ask the Defeeters about their game with them yesterday.

As a Fever parent, I appreciate your support. But you didn't say they would come to play....you said they were going to win. Too bold of statement, even for FCD, Sting or any of the other D1 teams. Makes Fever look unrealistic, and our girls know what they are up against. The girls did make a strong showing, matching South and beating Feet. The South game was very close with South having the best chance to score on a ball off of the crossbar.Fever Red had a rough 5 minutes in the second half against Sting, where Sting scored on 2 corner kicks, a free kick and a PK. Other than that, the other 55 minutes was back and forth. I know, I know....PK's, free kicks and corners are part of the game....and now we know where we need to get better. This was a great weekend for Fever Red. The gorls learned a lot. Very proud of each one of our girls.

Yes fever played well this past weekend I give them that. Hey congrats on the win against feet. Now given the circustances with feet only having 11 against higgy and lost 1-0. Even scored on south with nice header and made it 2-1 and one point. Having tired legs against three good teams and no goalie. Goalie played entire 3 games with broken hand at forward? Feet to me played with heart in 90 degree weather. Congrats feet on a great weekend!

It does sound like Feet girls should be congratulated for their efforts this weekend.  Now, the question is why did they have only 11 and had to have one of their players (goalie) play with a broken hand?  What is going on with Feet?  Feet is an ECNL club and they should be able to attract and develop talent.  For '00s, they had to get a team from another club.  '01s and '02s are not looking strong enough to compete at ECNL.  Not bashing, just curious/concerned. (I know, this has nothing to do with the topic but this thread has been hijacked already)

Yea I understand what your saying, all I know is alot movement from all clubs are about to go down! So get your popcorn ready!

02 is about to have an influx of talent: Popcorn Ready.

Feet lost like 9 after last season, down to 11 already for this season. I would be very wary of a team that loses so many girls year after year. This isn't normal "movement". That is a culture problem.

CULTURE PROBLEM..NA...it's those 11 I would go to war with every weekend. It's called culture pride. My DD personally loves this team. If you ever watch her play. she plays with passion,pride and has talent. So yes maybe it is a culture problem. A culture problem she loves and that right there is all I need to be on this team. Cause regardless of where's she plays D1,D2,D3 ect..she's already on a ECNL CLUB.
